If you want to learn a brief summary of the Rococo era then this book is for you. It has all the basics but nothing more. I bought to use as a source for my final (8 page) paper for art class. It was not a good source to use. I ended up buying another book. When I finished reading this, I was disappointed and felt like my money could have been better spent. Its well written but I could have easily gotten the same information from websites.

It has poor image quality , but I guess for the price you can't complain to much. I wanted this as a nice coffee table book.

I bought the book for research and I was happy to discovered both information, detailed by country, and images about the Rococo period.

This book is gorgeous! It is absolutely filled with artwork, and the text is informative AND interesting to read. I wish I didn't have anything to do except read it.

There is not much in this book; for almost AU$100 I would expect some more substance and content. Can find more information, better research and better images even on Wikipedia.
