This hat worn with the easy chin clip will having you conquering 0-20 degree Fahrenheit winter days like a champ. If you spend a lot of money on your hair; keeping it looking nice and so on, you will change your hair style after wearing this. I lived in Minnesota for many years and can't believe the wonderful difference this hat makes. I'm happy to go outside again. I makes that big a difference. Not to mention keeping you and your loved ones from getting sick. Nothing short of awesome.

Not a tight fit against wind
The materials are right - nylon shell to stop wind, synthetic fur for warmth.But the ear flaps don't fit close to the sides of your face - allow even a slight cold breeze to reach all the way to the back of your neck. And there is no insulation for your ears.

Fell apart before it was worn.
I washed it the same day it was delivered so my friend whom I purchased it for could wear it to work the following day. The seam ended up coming apart in the wash so I assume it wasn't sewn so well. I don't like to sew so I'm sure it will never get fix. I consider it a total loss and would not recommend this item to a friend.

the visor is permanently sewn in the up position
The hat is nice but what appears to be a visor does not fold forward to become a visor as I expected it would. I must have missed that part in the description. I did look at a lot of hats. My bad.
