Ottimi acquerelli!
Acquerelli ottimi, super pigmentati e dall’altissima granulazione.

Beautiful paints, excellent seller, am DS WC paint fan
Started off with the Daniel Smith essential mixing set, which I loved so much that I instantly also purchased the introductory Primatek set. Everything arrived on time and all pieces that were promised were included. The A. Prime driver left the package between the driveway and the walkway, which was not up to their usual standards. When I opened the Primatek contents, I immediately did the same thing I did with the Essential Mixing kit: is watched everything out and immediately began painting. There is only one PT color that does not granulate, and that is Rhodonite Genuine. Amethyst Genuine is very charming with glimmers of sparkle factor, said to be caused by the tiny shards of hand crushed Quartz. The Jadeite Genuine seems to be the most densely pigmented, out of a set that I would describe as intensely pigmented to begin with. Although I took precautions by gentle shaking the tiny tubes of paint before opening, the pigment still sprang from the tubes like party favor canned snakes. Make sure you have a palette or empty half / full pans on standby just in case. These colors are dryer compared to other watercolors. I disregarded the enclosed colors watching guide and commenced making my own, as discovery of these things are part of the fun. I consider Daniel Smith not only the creator of an extremely high quality product, but the mind behind these products are the mind or minds of art teachers extraordinaire. Everything about both sets are so carefully thought out and orchestrated to give the artist very valuable fun experience and knowledge about mixing ones own colors, and being very happy with the results. I've used many other brands of both cheap student grade to professional artist grade paints, and in this, Daniel Smith is VERY unique! Other brands will include many colors with the introduction set, obviously expecting the buyer to either not be interested or not be bothered to mix their own, and there is nothing wrong with that at all. But Daniel Smith brand insists that you experience and learn that we, too, can mix beautiful vibrant colors with his sets, and the implication here is that this is the purity standard that sets his paints apart from many other brands. So, there you have it! If you are at all process oriented, or have tried other sets with pre mixed colors, then I'd highly recommend Daniel Smith. If you are just getting started, or lack confidence, expect to work at it a bit with Daniel Smith paints. His sets don't have the same visual gift box appeal for the budding artist, it does not include a palette, a brush, etc., but it DOES include watercolor ground and a plastic carrying case. The unspoken message here is that DS expects you to understand that you can turn many surfaces into watercolor ready surfaces before you run out to buy expensive paper, and that squeezing out tiny little bits of paint at a time on a palette of your own choosing might give you the best results. As for me, I filled some half pans with my wayward forward springing, party snake emissions from my tiny DS tubes, and am still amazed at the intense beauty of both sets of colors combined and the variety of new colors they mix!

Great Product
This was my first kick at the can with Daniel Smith because they are so pricey. This tester pack was more affordable for me and it gave me a chance to try the paints. I have to say I love them, I can see why they are expensive the quality is incredible.
