We are slowly upgrading our '16 Ford Flex's OEM (interior and exterior) lights in favor of JDM's LEDs.Given their rather diminutive size and appearance, its output is astonishing! At these risk of sounding absurd, these particular LEDs exude a sense luxury, as seen in higher-end automobiles.Glove box: the LED was installed in under 2 mins. Of course, I failed to take a pre-install picture, but I am blown away by its crisp illumination.Map light assembly: the LEDs were installed, sans tools, in under 2-mins. I failed to take pre-install picture, of course. But, again, I am blown away by their crisp illumination.Second row assembly: installation took about 2.5 mins. per assembly. End result is AMAZING (see before and after pics).Rear cargo assembly (purchased directly from JDM Astar): 42 mm EX SMD 578 Canbus LED (see comparative picture). Had the LEDs installed in under 2 mins. time. It is safe to say that this picture accurately reflects the illumination of the map light assembly.Exterior Rear Assembly Marker Lights: Both marker LEDs were installed in under 2 mins. per assembly. Big difference in the rear markers, and no error messages noted.Couldn't be more pleased with these JDM Astar LEDs. The folks at JDM are highly professional, attentive and detail oriented. This is a "great" company, a "great" product and I recommend JDM Astar "Bigly!"

Excellent brightness, great price, you won’t regret it.

I was skeptical at first because I have purchased similar products like this that didn't last very long. The LED either stopped working or flicking was an issue. I just installed all 10 bulbs on my 2016 Toyota 4Runner, and there is a difference in appearance at night for sure. The license plate light makes it look more modern, and the door lights are bright for you to see your steps when getting out the vehicle. It enhances the look from a distance too. The dome light and the 2 rear cargo lights is not the same type as the ones I ordered here. I thought I had everything to replace all the interior lights, but I am missing 3 bulbs of 1 different type. Besides that, I haven't had any issues with them when they have been installed and working for 1.5 weeks now. I definitely will be buying from this seller again to swap out my rear dome light and cargo lights. Then it will replace the rear backup lights and front headlight area with all LEDs too. The bulbs that I take out can just be used for spare emergencies. These LED bulbs are so much brighter, and they look so much better then the regular yellow lights. On top of that, they use less power and the bulb hours last so much longer. Still going strong after a few months now

I ordered this pack for use in a 2013 Subaru Impreza Hatch and potentially a 2012 Toyota Highlander. My primary reason for buying these were to replace the cargo light in the rear of the Impreza, from a dim incandescent to a bright led, so I can actually see what is in the trunk. After getting the extremely bright 31mm festoon lights from JDM, I was expecting to be blinded again by these lights. That is not the case. These are not nearly as bright as I was expecting but they do work and are indeed many times brighter than the old non LED lights these replaced. Seeing as I had quite a few more than I needed for the trunk, I decided to swap the two DRLs in the front of the Impreza with these. They are a lot brighter and look nicer than the non LEDs HOWEVER, after a day or two in, I noticed that when the vehicle engine is running and is NOT in park, the swapped DRL lights will flicker ever-so-slightly; I suspect it is due to the change in power supplied (when the vehicle shifts out of park, the high beam lights turn on at a low setting to function as DRLs when the main headlights are not on). Seeing as this was a secondary decision on my part to swap the DRLs, I'll only take part of a star off. I also took off half a star for not being as bright as I was expecting (which, again is just perspective as I had just seen how bright their extremely bright festoon lights were). These are a good choice if you are looking for a decent upgrade for the interior of your car these are for you.

Update 3/26/21 well 2+ years the first set I bought are still going strong and they've ran 6 hours every night in my Malibu walkway lights since I got them. I have bought many batches of these lights and have yet to have a single led fail. So for the price and longevity I’ll keep buying them. I did for shiits and giggles buy a set this last week for a new rig I got and prior to installing them I removed one of the originals LEDs that have been used in my walkway lights and compared it to a new one to see if after so many hours of use they appeared or operated differently and while the original ones were slightly and I mean slightly dimmer than the new led but it was very hard to see and almost impossible to tell the difference once in the walkway light. Maybe with a Nikon you could get a better light comparison but trying to take a picture with my iPhone you couldn’t even tell one was dimmer than the other. So I’d say for the price they’re a no brained for me. Other brands I’ve had they fail after a few months whether flickering LEDs or burn out entirely.Original: I've had tons of leds from the first day they came out and like always JDM astar amazes me. I have their extreme leds for my brakes and turns all the way around and these are just as great of quality of led. I love that they are white without any blue hue. When I open my doors at night I feel like the heavenly gates have opened. Only downside is now I need more. Tons more. Would and will buy again and totally would recommend.
