2nd Chance

Excellent book and the reader's introduction to what will become the Women's Murder Club from book 1 continues. I'm not really into American cop stories and have been, in the past, un-excited about the female lead type books, so I read this on the recommendation of my daughter.I will only say that I'm now up to book 9 and have already bought 10-17. I would suggest that's recommendation enough

I've read a lot of James Patterson's novels now, but after reading the first in his series of "The Women's Murder Club" which was "The 1st to Die" I was a little bothered about purchasing this novel as the first was terrible.I'm very glad that I gave this series another chance, this novel "2nd Chance" the gruesome murders continue but start off with a little girl getting shot.Her friends that helped her in the first story are also back. But when the detective starts chasing the killer he makes her and her friends into his victim's ! Wait, what has her father got to do with the villain? I don't want to tell you to much as it will spoil the story for you.Thankfully the characters are more believable in this novel then the prequel as was the storyline. :-)I really enjoyed this novel, was full of action and it made a compulsive read. I'm now looking forward to buying the third in the series. :-)

With any James Patterson you know you are always going to get a good read, and this one doesn't disappoint. It is the usual action-packed crime/murder novel that Patterson is famed for. In this story we get to meet, the main character Lindsay's, father which is good and gives weight to the story, not to mention Lindsay's character as well. It makes it more personal as the reader gets to know the character on a more personal level which is always good especially for those readers, like myself, who want to read each book in turn and get a personal relationship (per say) with the characters.

I read this some time ago, want to read them all again and bought it. Brilliant
