Love this varnish. I’ve found two very thin layers (they dry very quickly so doesn’t take long to do two coats). The third & last coat I do however thick it needs to be to get the desired opaqueness.I’ve found the 2nd step actually makes this varnish less durable so I’ve stop using it. It lasts longer on its own.The photo shows it after I’ve washed my hair so it really does last.I started using this stuff two weeks ago. My nails were in an awful state - really short and brittle, they were constantly breaking. With this stuff, my nails are actually growing despite lots of work around the house and cleaning without gloves.Definitely recommend.

Any beauty product with ‘miracle’ in the name leads us to believe we have finally been delivered ‘the answer to all our problems’. Let’s be clear: whilst this stuff cannot rival the staying power of the gel nails cured by UV light, it certainly lasts longer than ordinary nail varnish. With the colour and top coat you can expect this product to last about a week without chipping. It is quite expensive but you will get lots of wear out of this product and it won’t damage your nails.

I have been super impressed with this gel system. Love the fact I can do it myself at home and not spend a fortune on getting my nails done. Honest review though, no way would this last 14 days. I am not a manual worker, in fact I sit in front of a computer all day. They lasted 6 days and then I buffed them added another coat of colour and another coat of top coat and they have lasted a further 3 days but it's now time to redo them properly.Having said all of that, they have lasted well longer than ordinary polish and the colour I got is just gorgeous, perfect for Christmas nails. I also painted my toe nails and to be fair they haven't needed touching up at all and are still going strong. Will be buying more colours.

I didn't realize you needed this special activating top coat for a neat chameleon colour offered by Sally Hansen. Was ready to apply it and all then realized it needed it so that was a bit annoying.Dries quick, durable, easy to remove. I recommed but be prepared to spend nearly £20 on just two bottles...They're not cheap, especially when you have to buy both and can't use one of your existing top coats but the quality is there and these are really nice, I don't regret buying... much.

I usually love Sally Hansen products, but I am really disappointed with this range. I purchased three colours and the top coat at around £10.00 each. This is nothing like gel polish, as it claims to be. I allowed the first coat of colour to dry before applying the second coat of colour, and I allowed the second coat to dry before applying the top coat. Within two hours of not doing much at all, the edges had chipped, and yes, I capped the free edge. I'm really disappointed that I have wasted money on these. I may return the other two colours as they're unopened.The shade I tried was Shock Wave (310), and it's a lovely colour, but there's little point in that if it won't stay put. The other shades I bought, but haven't tried, are: Tipsy Gypsy (690), and Mad Women (500). The Mad Women shade hasn't arrived yet, so I'll wait for that and then return the unopened ones.
