Just beautiful
Beautiful book about an interesting group of animals: the Canids.Lots of beautiful pictures which show you the differences between the species and subspecies.Awaiting now for the Felines of the World in the same style as Bovids of the World and Canids of the World. One remark: why has the Bovidsbook a glossy cover and the Canids a matt cover?I know, it is not really important, but as a graphic designer it annoys me a little.

Fine canid guide
I rather like this book. It's quite high-end, a serious field guide for serious wildlife-watchers. The illustrative content is photographic, with numerous images cut out on a white background. This approach isn't for everyone, but it works pretty well. The coverage is excellent, and the text is well written. Recommended.
