Mind Reader BMCOMP8-BRN

Looked nice upon arrival and fit my office supplies with room to spare, but was falling apart within a week!The cheaply glued bamboo sections are separating everywhere. The drawers can’t go all the way in due to warping.I don’t have the time to return it, and was unable to get a refund with the photos of the damage, so will just have to eat the cost. Very unhappy.

Doesn't average out as a 2-Star, but it doesn't deserve 3 Stars either. Initially I was really happy when I received the organizer. It was perfect for my side table! But...within a minute of handling this item, I got a splinter on the back of my hand when I pulled out one of the drawers. I was planning to line the drawers (as small as they were), but I noticed the back side of the front of both drawers had split wood. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this, but I did not count on getting splinters! Upon closer inspection, you could see rough edges that guarantees you are going to get a splinter. Although I would rather have a replacement, I am getting a refund. I don't think the replacement would be any better quality-wise...might even be worse! Too bad, because I really loved this organizer.

Have to squeeze a lot on my AirDesk 16"x13" shelf ... lamp, computer speakers and more .... This 3 drawer unit is a life-saver. It would be nice if you couldn't see all the junk in the drawers, but in the space formerly taken up by the speakers (which actually deliver great sound), I have storage for items I need to keep at hand. I'm using the bottom drawer for storing and charging my iPhones but don't find that satisfactory. I'll be looking for another tiny solution for the phones. Meanwhile, if space is tight, I certainly recommend this unit.

Arrived with some chipping/peeling of the bamboo on the edges. Some of the wood looked almost reclaimed - something that looks like an old serial number is waterstained onto one of the top slats. Additionally, one of the drawers has the product logo ("Mind Reader") imprinted onto the front which was smudged. Overall not bad for the price, is study and works. No cushion/anti-slip padding on the bottom - I have a very smooth desktop and this little thing went sailing across it with the slightest push. However, after applying a couple rubber sticker feet it grips pretty well.

Many places have poorly cut edges that were clearly not cut/sanded properly leaving shredded and/or splintering edges that had finish applied to them. Other places the finish is uneven or nonexistent. The drawer faces aren't square either, which I wouldn't mind if not for the other flaws. I got this to store some of my crochet threads in, so raw, rough, and unfinished edges are a big deal because they'll put pulls in my thread.On the plus side, it does seem well built and sturdy. It's also a great size for the bookshelf I use as my end table. Sadly, I'll need to return it and try again though.
