My wife loved this lantern after it was finished. It was a little challenging which I liked a lot. The pieces were well cut and very little cleaning of parts was needed. I give this product an A+ because it is a beautiful lantern. Just pay attention closely to the instructions and you'll have no problems. Lots of fun to build.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my second rokr kit that I've done, and it was a lot of fun to put together. The pieces were a lot more delicate than the last one, so I did have a few breakages, but fortunately they had extras of those pieces already in the kit. My first time staining the pieces, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out! I stained it prior to assembly, and there were no issues with fit. The moving pieces fit tightly enough that it tends to catch a bit when the music box reaches the end of its run, but when you first wind it and it has lots of power, it's not an issue.

If you love a challenge then this is a good one for you. I enjoyed putting this one together but it did get tricky when I got to the top part. This one definitely took some problem-solving skills. I got really stuck trying to get the top connected to the bottom part. I finally took off the bottom piece of the top part and just used it alone to connect the top to the bottom and then reconnected the top part. Watch out for part A13. It broke almost immediately. The good news is that it is not a necessary part. If you break it, just put the A11 parts in place without the A13 piece. Altogether, I broke 4 pieces but it still turned out nice in the end. My biggest advice is to pay close attention to the instructions especially where they have "!" near them. Also, don't forget to put the plastic tube in before putting the top on. It does not say in the instructions when to put it into the lantern. You will just see it all of sudden in one of the pictures. I only gave it 4 stars due to some of the pieces breaking so easily and the instructions not always being very clear on what to do with the parts pictured. This is definitely a nice one to add to your collection or give as a gift.

There was only one thing that was missing, and it was the button batteries. Easily remedied. But instructions didn’t list the size of button batteries you need.It is delicate. So keep that in mind when assembling it. The light is not super bright. Think of that like “nightlight” bright. But I love it!!! It’s a nice conversation piece too. Family loves it on a spooky stormy night.

Submitted request to provide missing batteries over a week ago. Have not heard back from them. Very disapointed. Cannot light a lantern without them.

It’s a lot of fun, my second one. Definitely requires fine motor skills as some of the parts are quite small and break easily. There’s extras of the more delicate parts which is nice. Looks lovely. The lantern is very dim, less than a tea light, but a cute feature.

I’ve worked on many Rokr puzzles and I really enjoyed this one. Comparatively, it’s one that doesn’t take as long as the others and it’s one of the sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing puzzles by Rokr. I would definitely recommend this one.

This music box is beautiful and just as pictured once finished. It did take considerable skill and a gentle touch in many places so pieces didn't break. The tube that goes in the middle and the area where it opens and shuts at the top both took sanding tools in our garage to make smaller so they would fit and function properly. This is not a beginners project.

The media could not be loaded.  Pieces of puzzle fit very tightly together it was also very nice that it came with batteries I wasn't expecting that 3 batteries LR44 nice packed took six to seven times to get everything to rotate together smoothly and arrived on schedule one day shipping
