Home Style Peanut Brittle Candy by Smarty Stop (3 Pound (Pack of 1))

There is a lot of good reviews a lot of bad reviews. First impression was Brittle fresh and delicious! 3 lb for $20 it's about 1/3 the price of the other peanut brittle I like. This is really just as good. Yes there's a lot of dust, But probably a very small amount of the weight. Did not have any clumping on my package that would be a problem with me. Have a subscription and I'm going to keep it for a while!!

There are two things that I look for when enjoying my favorite munchie... the peanuts and the brittle. These peanuts were not the best. Most were small broken in half or in smaller pieces. Many were over cooked... not quite burnt but they didn't have a clean "pea-nutty" flavor. Most were very dark and over done... as if the cooking process was too hot went for too long. There were some thick wierd pieces of brittle that were more like globs of peanut brittle than flat yummy pieces. I found many pieces of brittle that were nutles so add more nuts. The brittle was also over heated or over cooked as it was very heavy, not airy at all, very dark in color and a slightly burnt flavor. It was hard on the bite and stuck around on your teeth forever. Another problem was I got a lot of very small broken pieces and lots of brittle dust. This was a one time order for me.

I have purchased several different varieties of peanut brittle through Amazon. Some had a burnt after taste, some was way to sweet. The few that were actually good, soon disappeared from Amazon. This variety has a very good peanut taste to it. I originally purchased the 1 pound package so if it was bad, it was not a total waste. This is good as my son and I have devoured the 1st pound and I have shot up to a 3lb bag, and I'm sure there will be more, providing Home Style does pull their brand from Amazon like the previous brands.

Oh My Goodness… THE BEST “STORE BOUGHT” PEANUT BRITTLE I HAVE EVER HAD. I bought a 3 pound bag, eating half in 24 hours. I’m not proud of this but it is delicious! WILL BUY AGAIN ASAP!

1. Don't order it at night when you're hungry. 2. When it's delivered at noon, don't start eating it if you haven't had breakfast yet. 3. Don't hesitate to order this brand again, 'cause it's really good!

Meh, not great. Not enough peanuts, the brittle seems aerated and light. Seems a bit old as well. The shipment arrived very crunched up in to many small pieces and crumbs as well. I'll keep looking for better brittle .
