Ich habe lange gezögert meiner 11jährigen Tochter einen Kånken als Schulrucksack zu kaufen. Man bekommt halt ab der Einschulung suggeriert, dass ein ergonomischer Ranzen dick gepolstert zu sein hat mit 10 cm Schulterpolstern und handbreitem Rückenpanzer.All das bringt der Kånken nicht mit, obwohl er (laut eingenähtem Label) 1978 entwickelt wurde um schwedische Kinder vor Rückenproblemen zu schützen.Wir haben uns für den größeren 15Zoll Laptop Kånken entschieden, da er bereits (dezente) Gurtpolster hat und etwas mehr Stauraum. Entgegen des Datenblattes hat er 20 l Volumen Stauraum, nicht 11!! Zum Vergleich: das übliche Standard Modell hat 16l. Auf dem Foto ist das der kleinere links.Als Rückenpolster dient das herausnehmbare Schaumstoff Sitzkissen.Das Eigengewicht ist herrlich gering mit etwa 300 Gramm. Der alte Schulrucksack brachte ca 1,4 kg auf die Waage!In die Seitentasche passt eine 500ml Trinkflasche, die Brotbox vorne.Trotz nur 2 Hauptfächer ist dank der eckigen Form alles übersichtlich verstaut. Da müssen keine 4 Reißverschluss Abteile geöffnet werden um sein Zeug zu finden.Meine Tochter ist begeistert, findet ihn trotz voller Beladung bequem und natürlich super stylisch ;)Nun muss er nur noch 5 Schuljahre bis zum Abschluss halten, dann hat sich die Investition gelohnt!

Got this bag as I admittedly went for fashion over practically. It’s a nice bag though with plenty of interior space. It’s downside is also it’s advantage depending on your point of view.As there is no real internal organisation everything flops around inside, though at least you can decide what extras you want to buy to organise your bits and pieces how you want. I use this as a grab and go bag for the days I’m in work so I want to have everything stored properly.I was surprised (or maybe not considering) there was no internal key ring holder (to attach the semi-obligatory tracking tile) but there is a cleaning label in the laptop part but where you can possibly attach this.It’s a little uncomfortable if you have adult shoulders; perhaps the larger 16” version would better if you are a larger adult.The material is good looking and seems water resistant but after a month or two the black is looking a bit scuffed though I don’t mind it starting to look well used as opposed to brand new.Overall, I still like it but it’s not perfect, you are paying for the brand, and you need to sort out internal organisation yourself.

So I decided to treat myself to a new bag for uni since I had been using the same one for 3 years beforehand. Bought the 15' laptop one in ox red.If you get it and like me, you are a commuter, and you don't plan on bringing your laptop with you everyday you can put your valuables in the laptop compartment as it will be harder for thieves to reach. As for the actual bag, it's very stiff when you first get it but it does loosen after a week or so. The zips for the main pocket come lower than most traditional bags which nice when trying to put notebooks and folders etc. into it.If you don't have the stereotypical macbook like most students, I would suggest that, if possible, get a size bigger than you think you may need as my 15' laptop is a very tight fit in it and you would get alot more in the bag itself.But as an overall product it's great, would definetly recommend to other people if they can afford it, especially students.

Very disappointed. This is supposed to be a 15 inch laptop bag. My 15'' Asus or my wife's 15'' Dell do not fit in the laptop partition in this bag.

Strong, sturdy bag. Good size for a laptop and other things.However I didn't use the 'seat' it comes with - unnecessary for daytoday use of the bag.Also I was annoyed that the colour (rusty red) rubbed off onto my light blue coat, and upon washing the bag, it faded in patches. So don't wash it!Also the bag it not waterproof; it let in the rain onto my school books when I rode home on my bike :(
