All of the positive reviews are correct: this is a well-made piece of kit with nice, sturdy metal top and bottom frame, and comfortable handles. My iPhone X Max fits great even in its case.My only note would be that it doesn’t look quite as big as the pictures, likely because the phone and model’s hands were smaller in the product listing. This isn’t anything to take a star away, but if you have the largest phone, be prepared to not have a ton of room for your fingers around the grips on the inside.All that said, this is absolutely the best bang for your buck for this type of cage for a phone.

I needed to mount my iPod/iPhone on a tripod and still mount my light panel above it. This exceeded my expectations as far as being sturdy and it is highly customizable. In the picture is an iPhone 8 Plus in its case. Still room for my hands on both grips. Might consider a 90 degree lightning cable if you plan to hold it that way, though no issues using the phone hooked to my laptop with a standard charger while it was mounted. Plenty of room for natural cable flex without over bending.

I don't know why I didn't come across this product sooner. This is a very smart concept and I'm able to shoot the same or better quality, stable videos. But this one does not need charging, and no training time trying to figure out how complicated buttons work. I always had a hard time with the old gimbal that would act up or overdo the movements. Good riddance. Now I'm happier with this simple device. Plus I won't be afraid of breaking it when accidentally drop it to the ground.

So, in my search for a camera rig stabilizer I found that my Galaxy S22 ultra with the case, was just too large for most of the camera rigs that I found. When I saw this one, I jumped at the opportunity, because it seemed large enough and had enough features, that I thought that this would work. Currently the case that I am using is the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. While the size is high enough, there seems to be some limited size where you grab the grips with your palms and as your fingers wrap-around the post, there is little space between the edge of the phone case and your fingers. I have yet to plug in to USB USB C adapter there and I believe that I will probably end up having to get a right angle 90ﾟ USB C adapter in order to make the Røde microphone work. This is a preliminary review, But it seems to be stable enough and you can add hot shoe attachments, so I don't see any reason why I wouldn't give this a 4 star review. For the price, you can't go wrong! You should buy this!

Really enjoy using the phone stabilizer it is convenient, affordable, reliable and sturdy! I love how it’s not too big to fit in my bag and carry on the go. Great investment for taking pictures and making content!

For the price, this iPhone rig is pretty good. I used it for a sports event and it took much better video than if I was holding the camera. It is made of metal, easy to assemble, and has many attach points for lights and a microphone. I am definitely glad I bought it.

I have to admit, I was somewhat skeptical regarding the quality of this item but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The quality is excellent and it actually does what it claims to do. I am VERY pleased with the performance of this smartphone video rig and I would most definitely purchase it again. I am not familiar with KobraTech but they have certainly made a good first impression. I highly recommend this product!

I was a little worried at first when I saw the handles because they appeared to be made out of cheap plastic. But once assembled with the Metal built, not only was it solid and sturdy, it felt really comfortable to hold. It’s very lightweight and compact, allowing other accessories to be attached.
