X-keys Programmable Keypads and Keyboards (60 Key, XK-60)

I bought this to replace the a Logitech G510 keyboard that had 18 macro keys that I used for AutoCAD. Programming it takes some practice. Once I got the hang of it, I zipped through the rest of the keys. Anything from key combos to auto fill email text can be programmed…This thing can also be programmed to do mouse functions.Construction is very solid & the keys are well made. Nothing about this feels cheap. The manufacturer sells a large assortment of key types to change out & customize to your liking. Additionally, they sell preprinted key markers and blank label sheets & downloadable label sheets to customize yourself.I recommend this for anyone who uses architectural software or other software that requires lots of repetitive clicking like photoshop.

If you are spending a lot of time working with computer - as most of us do - you will find X-Keys and excellent tool to save time + be more productive. I save each day a lot of time, because instead of using mouse or looking for shortcut lists, I just press the button on my X-keys. But it also helps me to be more productive, because I can use software functionalities I was unable to use before. Simply because I added a lot of less known shortcut to the buttons of X-key. Actually, I was surprised how much it changed the way I work, well above my expectations. I use it all the days.

This programmable keyboard is amazing! The software is easy to download and install. Setting up the key binds is a bit challenging as some keys binds are specific. For example, if you wanted something to remain in the on position, such as a light, you would only set a (down) key bind, and not a (down and up) key bind. However, once you figure out what and how to bind, it works GREAT. Highly recommend.

I've used it every week now for two months in a mobile setting where we unpack, set up, tear down, and transport. It's rugged and performs flawlessly. No mapping to my keyboard to make things happen, so no worries about doing one thing thinking I was doing something else.Big buttons and multiple lighting options makes it easy to know the current status of elements by sight. This is essential when you are supposed to be fun and engaging on camera instead of distracted and with a worried expression on your face.You can go without it, or you can invest in your production and do better. Buy it if you think your live show is worth being done right. That's why I did.
