Star Wars Forces of Destiny Rey of Jakku and BB-8 Adventure Set

My 5 year old loves Rey even though she won't see this movie for awhile. My husband has been waiting to share StarWars with her, they're both pretty excited right now!

This is a gift for my young niece who is a big fan of Rey. She loves the new movies and I’m happy to see the geekiness continue.I wasn’t sure about these new dolls when I first saw them at the 70th Star Wars celebration. After growing up with Barbies who joints would pop out easily and hair that could be pulled out by brushing, I was worried that maybe doll quality hadn’t come up. Thankfully this Rey Barbie doll looks amazing.The quality of the face is beautiful and looks like Daisy Ridley. The hair is even better. Doesn’t look brittle or sad. The buns also look adorable as well.BB8 is well designed too and isn’t painted weird or lopsided. I do feel like the lightsaber is a little long but than again it doesn’t matter. Better to be a little longer than a little shorter.The closing is phenomenal and matches Rey’s ending scene look perfectly. With her blaster to match on her hip.I will say any parent who thinks that this doll doesn’t set good standards for girls is a fool. Not only does the doll not focus on hips or bust but looks to be more life like and realistic for a Barbie-like doll.This is a Christmas gift for my neice so I don’t know what she’ll say on Christmas. However, I know this is a must have doll for any little girl or woman who loves Star Wars and loves Rey.

I got as a Xmas gift for my 5 year old. Not opened yet. But looks good.
