My wife is the queen of soup so these are very handy for both Asian broth type soups or hearty American offerings like chili. These have round bottoms unlike most that you see in Asian restaurants, but they have a nicely curved handle that fits the lip of soup bowls perfectly. We use Corelle Vitrelle bowls and those are pictured with the spoon, demonstrating the fit. They have a quality feel being glass/porcelain vice plastic. Very satisfied with the purchase.

As someone who loves drinking soup, eating noodle soup, congee, everything comforting and liquidy or thick liquid, I’m reporting back after almost 2 years of using them that they’re very sturdy, excellent quality, smooth and rounded enough that it’s very comfortable to eat out of, and perfect size for a soup spoon.I regularly washed them in dish washer and they still look like the day I bought them.It’s almost weird how much I love using them cuz they make my soup experience so much better. I prefer them over the soup spoons I get at restaurants when eating out.

Lovely green color on these spoons that is just as expected. They work best for brothy or creamy soups rather than noodles which tend to slip back off the spoon. I plan to use them for stews and curries as well. I would say that if you have a tiny mouth, the bowl of the spoon might be a tight fit to insert completely but it provides optimal slurping.They came wrapped well and intact.

Bought these as the handle design is great for free standing in bowls without dropping into the bowl as the handle extends past even the larger ramen bowls.We use them when eating congee, ramen and having soup. The spoon itself holds more than the average Chinese rice spoon so it is also great for when having soup dumplings.
