I use light for an up light. This fixture does not have a loud fan when pointing upwards as the more expensive fixtures do.

Had before tried different brand they were not as good

I really almost kept this fixture and wanted to really like it. Was going to be using it (and perhaps a few more) for a studio backdrop. The LEDs are compatible with video recording in all modes and also slo-mo (tested on iPhone 15 PM), so you don't get banding or flicker. The unit is incredibly, and I mean, incredibly quiet for the price. It can sit right on the ground and has horizontal connections for power and DMX......BUT...The dimming range is not true 1 to 100%. They don't use the entire spread of 0-255 for dimming on each channel, or for the master. It jumps from off to 'dim' at about DMX value 20, then 36, and so on...fairly random. So you can't get predictable (relatively) smooth dimming because of the DMX value gaps between dim steps. Otherwise, the LEDs are bright for the unit's size and it's great to have RGBWAUV. I have some less expensive RGBWAUV lights that use the entire DMX range for dimming, so this is an obvious oversight or the unit is really only meant for sound control or DJ setups that don't need finesse. If someone had just spent 99 cents more on hardware or adjusted the software, this one would be a keeper. I guess I'll keep searching!

Nice and bright and loaded with features. What more could you want with a light. I love the fact that it has an ultraviolet option to. It really makes things stand out. Multiple yellows and whites for different color temperatures also. And all the rest of the colors are nice and crisp.

I was in the market for a small stage light to connect to my keyboard stand or put on the floor and shine up towards me for some ambient stage lighting on me. This little LED can light works great. Very simple to use with the remote. Can also be connected via DMX cables for your main lighting system. Lightweight 54x3W wash light with 4 colors (12 red,18 green,18 blue,6 white). Great addition to my bar/entertainment room. I love the light options and it covers most of my room. Glad I bought it.

Good lights, great for a band or mobile DJ. Power and DMX in are on the opposite side of power and DMX out,so be ready for cord management hell if you use them for up lights.
