Different and low quality than advertised

On two different occasions, ordered two different mounts and both times were not what was advertised on their description or pictures.

We decided to wall-mount an older unused TV in the basement for the treadmill. This Proscan TV, 26LB30QD is almost 10 years old, and barely used, but it would be great for this purpose; unfortunately the hole pattern was 405W x 200H which is not a VESA standard. Finding an "H pattern" mount which would stretch to 405 and not the standard 400 was difficult, and I decided to just take a chance on this one, due mainly to its affordable price. It worked perfectly. The uprights which attach to the set handled the vertical 200 perfectly (a VESA standard) while the horizontal spacing, billed only to work up to the standard 400 had more than enough play to separate to the 405mm width we required. Putting up this mount and hanging the tv was simple - we spent more time trying to figure out how to get the stand off the bottom of the Proscan. Just an excellent, excellent product. What a super purchase. EDIT: Forgot to mention, the hardware was all provided for every eventuality, and individually packed for easy use. They even included a small level.

If you're looking for sturdy, this is your wall-mount. This thing ain't goin' NOWHERE! High quality material and fasterners. Stupid-simple installation; a 5-year-old could do it. While range of motion leaves a little to be desired, that's not what it's designed for. I use mine for a DVR monitor that I don't use too often—but when I need it, I REALLY need it. Great piece of gear.
