I'm a John Grisham fan, so my opinion is of course biased.But as usual I found this novel "unputdownable", as they say.I liked the characters, the plot is easy to follow (maybe too easy) and, as usual it is clear that JG must have known such cases as Judge McDover's in his former career as a lawyer. The geographical and social context (casinos on Indian reservations) is also interesting from a cultural standpoint. It reminds one of the Longmire TV series, which take place in a different state.

I have not read John Grisham for a long while-I was in need of a new book to read and this title caught my eye and decided to give the author another go-I was pleased-the locale of Florida was great for in the winter months this was fun to read the warmth and humidity-the story was interesting about getting a corrupt judge and her mob connection-tied in with developments in condos and casinos-was a thrill to read from start to finish-I want to get the next story in this series
