Please note this is NOT a traditional solid plastic ice cube tray and does and will flex. Therefore you must place this level in your freezer and then fill, I place on a small chopping board level in my freezer drawer first then fill with water, I brought this with that knowledge and have no problem with it unlike some other reviewers
