Molten Light Touch Volleyball

Ball does not come blown up so you will have to do it yourself . It’s soft and perfect , size is for children entering volleyball , for this price , you can’t beat it ! It’s lower than in most stores

Great beginner volleyball. We've used the Molten First Touch which actually has a cloth cover and the soft touch (which is not so very soft). This has a nice soft touch for a beginner who doesn't have tough arms yet. This ball does, however, have more bounce than a standard volleyball - partly due to construction and partly due to the decreased weight of the ball. The extra bounce is good because the ball does not have to have much speed behind it to get a good bounce off the arms. It keeps the kids from learning to swing at the ball in order to propel the heavier balls. My daughter really enjoys using this one because it does not sting her arms or hurt her wrists when she receives the ball incorrectly (which happens often when they are learning). This should be good for at least this year until we need to move up a bit in weight to get her more accustomed to a fully-weighted ball.

At half the price of a Volley-lite, this is a perfect first ball for young players who are still building muscle & learning technique. Soft (not leather, not rubbery) outer makes repeated passing practice easier on rookie forearms. My daughter has been using this ball for a week in our driveway & it's showing zero scrapes or tearing of the outer.

We started with ONE of these- my niece was starting volleyball lessons/practice on Saturdays at a nearby church/school and these were highly rated and very affordable. Sure enough once her little sister and my daughter see her with the volleyball THEY want a volleyball. So I order another one for the 3 and 4 year old to play with together. I’m sure many of you can imagine how that went. My daughter wanted the same color as her big cousin and the little sister just wanted whatever anyone else had at any given moment 😂 so we now have 3 volleyballs and despite taking a lot of punishment from normal playing AS WELL AS being bounced like basketballs on CONCRETE and even LEFT OUTSIDE IN THE BACKYARD IN THE RAIN on several occasions, they are holding up BEAUTIFULLY. And if anyone is interested: you can use paint markers to label/decorate the balls and it comes out beautifully and lasts a long time despite the previously mentioned abuse 😂. I absolutely recommend these for anyone, but especially if you are buying for kids who will be putting the equipment through the wringer. These are fantastic!

My 10-year old has been taking volleyball lessons. I got this ball as a surprise to help her practice outside class. She loves this Molten ball!—Beautiful, light, great for a kid her age. The ball needs to be inflated—I also purchased an air pump and it worked out perfectly. My only issue and the reason for the 4 stars is that I purposely searched for a high quality volleyball MADE IN THE USA—all the information about Molten says that it is an American company but this specific ball is MADE IN CHINA—-while I am not going to return the ball, I would have really preferred a volleyball made in the USA.

If you are thinking your kiddo should use a regular Vball, don’t. This volley lite is the same size but weighs less for kids to be able to play with less arm pain. My 9 year old is using it and it’s an official ball for their games.

If you're searching for a light weight volleyball, the Molten Light Touch Volleyball is a fantastic choice, especially for beginners. My daughter, who's just getting into volleyball, adores this ball. While it may require a bit more frequent inflation compared to some others, investing in an affordable Franklin Sports pump alongside it has made it a non-issue for us. What's impressive is that even with the pump included, it's still more budget-friendly than the VB-U12 ball. It's a smart investment for anyone starting their volleyball journey.

Very nice quality ball. Light weight for younger kids to have a proper hit out without using rubber toys. Seems to wear reasonably well on more abrasive surfaces, we'll see how it holds up long term. Happy for now.
