Worked straight away no messing with drivers
Worked on Windows 11 fine. Worked straight away. It has the TFDI chip set which in my opinion is the one to look for. No need to mess with drivers. The cable is of good quality

Works with some effort
The cable works ok but I had an issue with the drivers in my windows 11 machine not recognizing the cable or Chinese radio. Once I uninstalled the driver and installed an older driver the cable worked well. Not the fault of the cable.

Works perfectly with CHIRP
I've programmed 3 radios (BF-F8HP HAM and 2x AR-5RM GMRS) with this cable via CHIRP. It works great. Way better than my old one, and I really like the red color to help identify it in my drawer of cables.I wanted to make sure that my 2 GMRS radios had the exact same set of channels configured including repeaters, and NOAA listening. (The radios have their own special NOAA button, but it isn't marked on the keypad, so if you don't know about the feature, you're stuck finding the stations manually. Having the weather frequencies as additional channels and setting them to no-transmit via CHIRP just makes things easier.)

Best PC Programming Cable I've Used...
I'm no stranger to programming Baofeng radio's with various USB Cables -- it always seems like its a multi-hour song and dance to get most cables working on any new PC. However, with this cable I plugged it in, waited a couple of minutes for my WIndows 10 PC to find/install a driver automatically and everything was working perfectly. The first two radios I programmed were my old UV-5R and UV-5RE; both wen't quite well and were easy to get programmed. The next radio was one of my newer UV-5RTP's... At first I could not get a connection to this radio -- knowing the cable was good I fiddled with it some -- unplugging it and plugging it back in again a few times... Still no luck. Finally I happen to notice that the connector to the radio did not seem completely parallel to the side of the radio. I firmly pressed the cable which pressed in just a couple of millimeters, and I was able to successfully connect to and program this radio also.I'm extremely impressed with this cable, it is the easiest I've ever used, I like the lights on the connector, and the build quality is impressive. I expect this cable to last me an extremely long time. I could not be happier.

Ptoey!
Had to return this as it did not work with my Windows 11. I may be at fault here since I didn't read too closely whether the driver supported my OS version. But it's just a string if it doesn't work, so back it goes.
