One of the Best Fiction Books I have read!
Shiva! This name itself creates an immense amount of love in me and brings a smile to my face. Any book with his picture or the title with his name catches my attention, and I buy it. The same happened with this book, and even though I had not heard of the author before, I can now say that buying this book was one of the best decisions. This book starts with a college student, Abhay, interested in researching Lost Temples and Dynasties of India and is currently discovering the Chola Dynasty. For all those who do not know, Chola Dynasty was one of the longest-ruling dynasties, predominant in Southern India. Abhay reaches Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and, with a couple of friends, starts exploring the Sathuragiri Hills. The first half of the book talks about his exploration & the way he decodes each sign with his enormous knowledge of Yoga, and Lord Shiva is thoroughly mind-blowing. The way the author talks about each moment in Abhay's day-long investigation will take your breath away, and it is unputdownable. It shows the study the author has done to put those facts, and I must say that merging it with fiction has been done beautifully. The second half of the book talks about a character by the name of Ghora, and his story is equally captivating. The author talks about the association between these two parts, and the narration is nothing less than an action film. It is fast, to the point, and very engaging. The book ends at a cliffhanger with the readers waiting for the author to reveal the story of Shiva's Origin.I would recommend this to everyone who loves to read historical/mythological fiction and is up for a roller-coaster read. Yes, I finished the book in 5 hours, and I am anxiously waiting for the second book to be published.

An Excellent Story !
Shiva Origins : The Son Of Ganga' took place thousands of years ago and this book unveils the truth of Shiva Origins. The book is divided into two parts. The first part narrates the story of Abhay Sharma and second part is about Ghora.Abhay Sharma, a young and brilliant student who loves to explore the ancient history, caves, temples and scriptures. Currently along with his friends he is all set to explore the hidden mysteries of Chola Dynasty. On his trip to Southern India, at Sathuragiri Hills he discovers an illusionary forest and queer cave. As Abhay enters the cave he finds various scripts, mysterious statues, strange creatures. He discovers the secret of yoga, decodes the signs with the knowledge of yoga and history of Lord Shiva. Now the second half of the book narrates the story of Ghora who lived thousands of years ago. Ghora was a fierce warrior who was never responsible for anything yet he had gone through injustices which awakened the fire within him and turned him into an evil.To be honest, I am running short of words. The story is narrated in such a brilliant and thrilling way that it won’t allow you to get distracted. The style of writing is amazing which captivates you for sure. The book is well researched and full of facts which I recently got exposed too. Through Abhay’s and Ghora’s story the book unravels a lot of secrets and gives you immense knowledge and know it you must definitely get your hands over this book. Also the book ends with a spine-chiller which creates a curiosity among the readers about what may happen next. Overall, I would rate it 5⭐/5⭐

Thrilling read
Genre: Mythological Fiction...🌟🌟🌟🌟..An in detailed insight into the lesser known Chola Dynasty one of the Mahajanpadas of mediaeval India. The protagonist is a scholarly individual who is researching on the Chola Dynasty. He makes his way through South India where the dynasty had its influence. In his journey he comes across the ancient mythology and avtar of Lord Shiva...I suggest the book to both the believers and non-believers. As there is not only mythology but also a great deal of history in detail. I had a history teacher who taught history as a story to make it interesting reading this book was like going back to the lessons...The narrative is absorbing, the character building is little less perfect but the book is a must read nonetheless.

The writing could have been better.
The language and writing style could have been better. But I still could not put it down. Towards the end it seemed like a sci fi movie. The author knows alot without doubt. I am waiting to read part 2 though.
