They are a great for homemade gift giving . So easy to fill and look sleek and elegant on the tree. We filled them with saw dust and a written message on the discs.

It’s 3.15” but all the way to the edges that are beveled so to put a decoration on them that I also got from Amazon that said they used this size doesn’t really fit. I needed that extra space over the 3” mark on a full flat surface to fit the grinch face that also says it is 3”. Wouldn’t have thought that would make a difference being such a small difference but it does. Price though for quality is a bit much but these days was all I could find. Everyone else was even more expensive. Just last year in 2020 these kind of cheap plastic ornaments were only 50 cents each not $1 or more when buying in bulk.

They do have a bit of a warped finish depending on the angle you look at them from, but for the price and durability that's ok. Nice large opening for filling and decorating. I could not get polycrylic to stick to it though. Eventually used clear gorilla glue and that worked well. Happy decorating!
