L'Oreal Excellence Creme Hair Color #8 Medium Blonde 1 Application - Pack of 3

I love this hair color! Everything is great from easy to use, good coverage, great color. The only negative thing is I have to touch it up every 2 weeks.

I've been using this product for about 5 years and as my own hair turned more gray I went with progressively lighter shades of brown to medium blonde now. Whether it us due to the change in texture of my hair or whatever, the color does not last as long as it used to. I use color protectant shampoo and conditioners every 2-3 days and I rarely use heat and very little product for styling.

I came into this world as a light blonde, and I will go out blonde -- maybe not as light, but still blonde. I don't understand the low reviews. I have used 8.5A and 8 (used to be 8A) for YEARS -- more than 20. For spring and summer, I'm 8.5. In fall, I mix one 8.5 with one 8, then I go full 8 for winter's duration. There are fewer than five people on the planet who know I color my hair. It's just below my shoulders, shiny, thick, and healthy. I get stopped at least once a week by someone telling me what gorgeous hair I have. No red or brassiness at all. My reason for four stars instead of five is that I wish it lasted longer. Unless I want someone to see my silver roots, I have to color every five weeks. BTW, my stylist says she couldn't give me a more natural looking color for a heckuva lot more money!
