I've used this summer cloth now for two years in a row and find it extremely useful. In the past I was unable to protect my kale of cabbage plants from attacks by various bugs especially worms, eggs laid by a white butterfly. I dislike using pesticides. The summer cloth protects, allows enough moisture and sunshine and I've had an unbelievable crop of kale with not a blemish on any of the leaves. I highly recommend this cloth for the growth of all vegetables.

This was exactly what I needed to protect newly planted dwarf fruit tree & a tropical bird of paradise that were getting burnt in the Arizona sun.A couple of my plants and a dwarf lemon tree were getting crispy in the hot Arizona summer sun.This is a very light weight material, so I had to tie off the corners (vs stapling to something). Much lighter than products that what my local garden center carrier, which was exactly what I was looking for, for this need. I expect it will also work well for a light freeze in the short winters in Arizona.

I love this product. I needed sun and insect protection for the lettuce and it worked perfectly! I had sweet lettuce into July. Now it's being used to shade other garden crops from unusual summer heat. If you want to keep the insects off, be sure to put this on before the plants get infected. If you want a sturdy product that will provide protection from the sun as well as pests, this is great.

We used this as a tent over our koi pond during the fall and winter to prevent leaves from getting into the pond. It worked beautifully. After years of trying to find the perfect solution for keeping leaves out of the pond, we found it with this product. We shall use it again this fall and again and again.

Used this for a hoop garden. It kept out the cabbage moths and for the first time EVER, I have had beautiful cabbage, lettuce and kale. It is light weight though, so it does not withstand clips on pvc for very long without tearing - but I will see how to make due and repair to prevent critters and use for a season.

The product itself works fine, my only gripe is having to staple it to the ground. Wish they had grommets along the edges that way the fabric would not tear when I staple it, that would also make it last much longer in general. Overall the material is pretty strong and works just fine in keeping pests from disturbing my vegetable garden.

We used this fabric to thwart a prospective attack of potato beetles and cabbage maggots, and fortunately, experienced neither this year. Don't know if this was because of the fabric, but at a minimum, it was great insurance. We supported the fabric on a frame constructed from 3/4" PVC tubing connected using connectors from pvcbuilder(dot)com.

Rain weighted it down too heavy on plant. Also , did not keep squirrels out, which was my hope. Probably works much better on rows of plants in ground. My garden is in large individual pots.
