Keeps melon from becoming like gelatin
Bought one for myself last year and again this year as a gift. The grate elevates the melon (cut into big chunks) from sitting in the liquid and becoming gelatinous. Be sure to drain each day or the liquid will rise above the grate. Excellent product.

Does exactly what’s it’s made to do. Makes cut up watermelon last longer in the fridge. When cut up watermelon is sitting in it’s juices, it goes off quicker, this makes it last a little longer.

Package is confusing
Almost sent it back unopened. No Amazon branding on the box and it was sent from overseas. Didn't know what it was and in this day and age I was leary of opening it. Glad we finally did. Other than that it was fine and would purchase again.
