I wanted to get into Magnet fishing for my YouT*be channel Fishing_With_Big-Dand got to searching for a decent powered magnet kit to try out. I found this product and ordered it.price wasn't bad and it looked like quality materials in the kit. the item shipped fast and appears to be everything as detailed in the product information. the magnet is strong and so far I have used it several times fishing at piers and bridges and found some neat little items like knives and a watch and fishing stuffoverall the product met my needs and was priced decent . I would buy again if needed

Super easy to set up, and seems like a quality magnet. This is my first magnet fishing magnet but it's super strong, so I'm happy with it. The rope is good quality, and it comes with a bottle of thread glue for the I hooks so I'm sure it's not going anywhere. Pretty fun to take to the lake.

Bought this set to go magnet fishing with my 9yo daughter. We had a ot of fun finding random things and cleaning up the environment while we did it.The carabineers that come with the kit are both not a great quality and also magnetic so they stick to the magnet. I recommend picking up a couple stainless steel quick links at your local hardware store and swapping them out. Other than that quite pleased.

Perfect little kit, bought it for my dad on a whim one day down at the river. He really enjoyed watching those magnet fishing videos on YouTube. Never really caught anything interesting, but it definitely did its job!

Bought for my 11 yo son and found that I had just as much fun as him.lol ! Didn't find much but made great family time memories!!! Magnet was as strong as id say you would need for something like this...rope could have been a bit better quality but in all was a great purchase.i would recommend for any father son family time experience!!!!!!!!

So, the fine print will tell you that since both sides of the magnet are exposed, the pulling force is calculated by the sum of both sides. Meaning, ideally, this thing should be able to lift a 500lb object with each side. I am very skeptical of that claim. I use this in a steel mill to retrieve tools we drop and it struggles with crow bars and hammers. Very nice quality build. I intend to buy another from the same company but I will get a much stronger one next time.

I haven’t found anything in the water yet but I love this magnet fishing set. It is worth it and it is reasonably priced!!!

I bought 2 sets for my boyfriend and myself and we are upset of the quality of this product. The magnets skipped over everything and occasionally would pick up a bottle cap and not much else. Ad claims 1000 lbs, I doubt it could pick up 5 lbs. I would not waste my money on this product I wondered at first if we accidentally ordered from Temu but it was Amazon,I guess getting their product from Temu. Buyer beware! I will be requesting a full refund.
