Takes a while to put in the door and for some hotel rooms it just didn't fit. But when it does fit I definitely feel safer

We bought these to keep my mother in law safe. She developed alzheimers and wanted to wander. We caught her trying to get out a couple of times in the middle of the night with these on the doors and they stopped her! They were tricky to get on and off but we figued it out and she did not. What a great product!

I tested this out in my home, and it seals the door pretty tight. Didn't seem like it would fall out, the only way to remove it was to remove the red lock bit. Make sure you check the instructions, the first time I had the locking piece in wrong - it still stopped the door from opening, but didn't keep it completely sealed. Once I had it set up properly, the door wouldn't budge. Definitely taking these with me any time I'm in a hotel. I've had a couple instances where the cleaning person ignores the DND sign or an employee comes in thinking the room is vacant. If these work in the gaps between a hotel door and the doorframe, this will be a perfect solution.

The lock is a little tricky to get into the key hoel but once you get the hang of it everything is very easy and smooth. Takes me about 5 seconds to put in the door and makes me feel very secure. If your renting in a shared doom/ house, travel a lot, or you need a lock on ANY door then these are perfect for you. 4 stars on sturdiness because sometimes it seems to look cheap or like it would break with enough force but I’ve personally never experienced it not working.

Items as described by seller, brings a nice black pouch so you can put it away in there, really easy to put on the door, and once closed it will not open, a game changer that gives you peace of mind, I completely recommend it and would buy again.

It's just a great thing to have especially if they make a mistake in a hotel and give people the same room. That's happened before! As a flight attendant this is a must have! If you travel outside the country it's great too!

This is a good concept except that it does not work with the hotel that has a keyless entry with a deadbolt along with it. Most of the resorts and hotel that I stayed here in U.S. has this type of door lock.

This helped me when my daughters boyfriend tried to attack me. I installed it quickly and kept him from entering my room. It works
