Bottom line: The optics are incredible, and they were so comfortable I usually forgot I was wearing them. If you can afford these, they are worth it- especially if you are going to be on the water where there is inescapable glare for long periods of time.I would normally never spend $200+ on a pair of sunglasses, but I was going to spend a week on a chartered sailboat and I knew I'd be on the water from sunup to sundown, so I went ahead and splurged.The first thing I noticed when I put them on at home was the amazing optics- they really are simply incredible. This was only re-enforced once I was on the water. One nice feature- the glasses have rubber on the tips of the side pieces (so- behind the ears) and on the bridge of the nose, so even when I was covered with sunscreen, these glasses never slipped.Negatives- Price. Second- these are just slightly tight just behind the ear. I tend to get headaches when I wear glasses that are snug or tight, so at first I hated this "snug fit" and thought I'd send them back, but I put them on to mow the lawn and in 2 minutes I forgot I was even wearing them. They were NOT tight on the temples, and I think that's why I had no problems with these.

These glasses are very comfortable to wear. I purchased them to decrease the glare when looking into the ocean and improving visibility through the water. I'm not a professional fisherman so these are a luxury item for me. I really like them for the above mentioned use but for driving, I prefer my inexpensive polarized brown lenses. The blue is a little too dark for me. For the price, I'm not sure the difference in water visibility is worth it for me as my use is only occasional. If you are a regular ocean goer who needs the best visibility possible, you should consider these.

These are the first polarized sunglasses I’ve ever had. I had always bought Oakley’s in the past, but I think Costa is my new brand.
