Seems to work well and my cat loves it!
This review may be a TMI, but if you are a good cat Mom or Dad, concerned for your kitty, read on!Both of my cats have very long hair, and recently I spent a very considerable sum of $ at the vet to manually remove compacted poop from my older kitty's (and primary groomer) bum. Her poop was so hard the vet could knock it on the counter. I'm not sh!+%& you! When she broke (yes. Broke.) it open it was full of hair, like a hairball poopball. My kitty already eats primarily canned food, & she stays hydrated. Unfortunately though, she is a grazer when it comes to eating and my kitten would snatch her food, getting the doses the vet suggested instead. I tried it in broth, milk, a ton of stuff. My kitty was a no go on it, at least in a way I could make sure SHE was getting it, instead of my kitten. So I started searching and came across this product. I did some research, it seems safe long term, so I purchased it. Day one she was sniffed and ate it. Day two, she wasn't having it, so I put about an inch squeeze on her paw. Ohhh that made her sassy and salty. The next week, she wouldn't eat it off my finger, so I continued to put it on her paw. Now, about a month later, she eats it directly off my finger. In fact she looks forward to it, so much so, that my husband tries to give it to her in the morning, every morning, before I even get up, to win her kitty favor. Her poops are much softer and there seems to be less hair. This has made the best of a crappy situation and is significantly cheaper than the alternative of myralax in her food, manual removal, or worse yet, the possibility of impacted bowels and reconstructive surgery.Simply put, my cat loves it. My husband loves the attention he gets for it, and I love it makes my kitty much more healthy.

Happy kitty happy customer!
My cat has never liked the taste of these remedies and this is no different. However I use the tried and true method of smearing the product onto her paw and she just licks it off. Years of “special diets” and finally can go a couple of weeks at a time without constant puking. Happy kitty happy customer! All animals differ like people. If you have tried and failed give this a shot. I believe it to be a quality product, safe, and has improved my cat’s health greatly over a few weeks of using.

Works very well
Easy to use because my cats love the flavor. it looks unpleasant to me but my cats beg for it so it’s simple to get them to take it. This product comes in a squeeze tube like toothpaste. It helps hairballs move easily through my kitty’s system. It was a great value. Tube was a good size for the price paid. Much easier cheaper here than at the vet’s office. I recommend this product for any kitty that struggles in the litter box or has trouble with hairballs. Two thumbs up

Works well taken DAILY along w/a water fountain
I've had my 18 yr old cat only 5 years and in those 5 years he never had normal bowel movements. His were more like little black rocks UNTIL I bought him a water fountain and began this Decra product. His pickiness about food didn't help matters and I learned after a while to give him a different variety of wet food every day. He didn't dislike his food, he was simply bored with the same brand of foods even if those little 3 oz cans were pricey! So we've gone through A LOT of different brands of food.He always drank a lot of water but it was hard not to notice the difference in his bowels after I gave him a water fountain. Even though he had plenty of fresh water he would hang out at the kitchen or bathroom sink and try to drink from their faucets. The photo I've included says it all.For an 18 year old cat his health is excellent, no kidney problems. But he hasn't gone near ANY faucet since I put down a water fountain instead of a water bowl. Cats prefer to drink from running water and I hear him lapping up water often throughout the day. (Yes, we go through a lot of kitty litter too!)But when I add a product like Dechra Cat Lax Cat Hairball Remedy to his food regimen, instead of scooping little black rocks out of his litter box every few days there's just one long one every day or every other day. But my cat has to have it EVERY DAY, not just a few times a week. I've always given him a popular brand of dry anti-hairball treats daily; AND his vet-prescribed a very pricey dry GI formula food which worked for 2 or 3 days but only because he has always liked new foods. But nothing has worked as well as this Dechra along w/his water fountain.

Hide and Seek
It was affordable, but not so easy to use. My cats took one whiff of this and disappeared! I tried placing some on their mouth so they'd lick it off and they lost their minds. Then I put some on the top of their paw so they'd bathe it off and that was a mess, because they flung it everywhere running. Only one cat likes soft cat food so I was able to hide it in there, but he still looked at me suspiciously before eating. The other cat I'll have to think of something.

The cats don’t hate it
I’ve tried others, but the malt flavor seems to be preferred…and that makes it easier to use if they don’t hate the taste.
