My other silicone mold flops like a dead chicken when filled, which makes it hard to get to the refrigerator. THIS one is sturdy enough to carry it (carefully) to the fridge. Makes all the difference. And, it's very pretty.

These are great. I made little frozen yogurt bites and they came out beautiful! This mold is especially good because of how sturdy it is. They were super easy to get out and you can just throw it in the dishwasher for cleaning. Definitely recommend!

This mold works great. Easy to use, simple instructions and can't beat silicone! Everyone's microwave is different, so you have to watch the chocolate closely so it doesn't burn. My first batch turned out well but the two middle ones burned a bit. The second batch (pictured) turned out better since I didn't keep them in the microwave as long (still experimenting, 1.5 minutes more/less seems to work for mine). I took them out of the fridge from firming up after about 1.5 hours. They came out of the mold easily. The two in the solo image were from the middle two hearts (bottoms of them to show they don't melt evenly). Came out funky, but as I figure the microwave concentrates heat in the center. The hearts around the edge molds came out great! Not only that, no silicone plastic taste with the hearts either, just delicious chocolate (I used the melting discs that can be bought from the grocery store). It is also easy to clean. Great product!

This mold is a great step forward in chocolate molding! Wilton definitely hit the mark with this one. You put three candy melts in each cavity, put it in the microwave and heat. I heated mine for 30 seconds twice, then at 15 second intervals until they melted. Once everything was liquid, I 'tapped' the air bubbles out of the mold by dropping it on the counter from a height of about 4 inches several times. I then put it into the refrigerator to harden the candy. Removal of the candy from the mold took me a few minutes to figure out. First, I stretched the mold by pulling on each side and then on the diagonal. I then turned the mold face down on the counter and pushed on each heart. The candy dropped free. Clean up was hot soapy water and then I let the mold air dry. There are fine indentations on the bottom of the mold/top of the heart that gives you a filagree effect. It's quite beautiful, but those tiny lines will hold water after washed and it takes some time to dry. I found that while I was using the mold all I needed to do was wipe it out with a paper towel in between batches and save the soapy water for the end. I made these hearts to put on top of wedding cupcakes and they were gorgeous. It took less time than a traditional mold and the best part was that there was no leftover/wasted chocolate.
