I wanted a new PC to piggy back on the back of my TV for consuming media (streaming etc...). This is a great little device which has the grunt to render high quality video as well as running almost silent. In a quiet room, close to you might hear it if it's working hard, but in a normal situation it's as good as silent.

I personally bought this as a secondary box that I can use to install FreeBSD on to use for development, exploration and learning.It comes with Windows 10 pre-installed which quickly sets itself up and my immediate impression is that it's a fantastic little box. You really can't go wrong for the money. (I paid £120). Perfect as a TV set top box or any other little project you may set your mind to.It came clean and well packaged, looks immaculate. So far, I can't see anything to complain about.Recommended.

PC is fine; Windows-10 Home pre-installed and setup went smoothly, with one major exception. Everything I tried running complained about OPENGL being unsupported. When I checked on Device Manager/Display Adapters I found that the onboard graphics chip (Intel HD Graphics 4400) was NOT detected, so the PC was defaulting to the software emulation ‘Microsoft Basic Display Adapter’, which does not support OPENGL 3.1 or anything above it, i.e. it’s virtually useless for any modern software.After a lot of investigation I found the cure. You have to download & install the “Intel Driver and Support Assistant” (from the Intel website), then run it to detect your Intel hardware & drivers. It then runs a Driver update, and after a re-start the Device Manager/Display Adapters finally correctly showed the Intel HD Graphics 4400.All now good, but I’ve deducted one star for Amazon’s failure to have done this as part of the refurbishment; it’s a very basic omission and should have been spotted and corrected before shipping.Also the packaging was EXTREMELY poor, with the PC rattling around inside a plain box with no padding at all, and the box edges being untaped with gaping holes all around it, so another star deducted.

This was great value for money, no concerns at all. It also starts up quickly and is fast. Happy to recommend.

Bought this product in order to allow my newborn son to call his grand parents in Australia. Unfortunately there were some issues with getting the PC to work however the customer service was fantastic and everyone did their best to resolve the issues.
