Q: Is this a soft material? I don't want a hard plastic that can damage teeth, somthing soft like kong-but more durable.

Durable enough for a 100lb plott-hound and a pit-bull to play tug-of-war for several hours with no damage. However, my dog always seems to be able to chew a hole in the center of the frisbee. Then we end up with just a hollow rubber ring as a toy. It is very soft and flexible too. My dog loves trying to catch it in the air before it hits the ground and with a hard plastic frisbee his gums start to bleed. But with this frisbee he is fine.

Q: How many inches wide is the Mini??

The one I have is 8" in diameter. However, I'm not sure I'd call it a "mini". My border collie is 38 lbs. I also have a bichon that can handle it pretty well.

Q: How well does the frisbee float?

I have a Border Collie who is a frisbee addict. This disc can really hover and maintain air for its size and weight. It does not float as well as a regular plastic frisbee but my dog can really track it and get air between the ground and him.

Q: Setting these frisbees can be used as a food or water dish can they be used in the microwave to warm up the puppies food?

I don't know if the frisbee would stand up to the heat. That being said, I wouldn't advise the use of the frisbee as a food dish because you don't know what kind of chemicals would be released with heating. I don't believe that this toy is certified as a "food grade" piece of equipment.
