Shea Moisture Balancing Moisturizer African Black Soap 2 oz

I recently purchased the SheaMoisture Balancing Moisturizer for Dry Skin African Black Soap with Shea Butter, and I must say that I'm quite pleased with my purchase. I've been a fan of SheaMoisture products for a while now because of their consistent quality, and this moisturizer did not disappoint. This is my absolute favorite moisturizer for both day and night. It has a super pleasant and light scent, it feels super lightweight but moisturizing, and it absorbs very well. It works well for any skin tone. This brand consistently uses clean ingredients, and I and sensitive skin and never have any skin irritation from this. It lasts well when stored properly.

I decided to give this a try since I already use Shea Moisturize products. I was not disappointed. While the jar is small, a little goes a long way. I bought this two months ago and I still have a lot left, granted that I only use it a few times a week. Before the weather got extremely cold, this was very moisturizing. Since it’s cold, I follow it up with shea butter. This cream will leave your face feeling soft and moisturized. My skin looks amazing after I use it. It has a low scent which is a plus. While it’s great on the face, it also works wonders on your hands in the winter months.

Loved it more before the addition of tea tree oil. It used to be lightweight and very refreshing to put on. Now it’s thick and almost clumpy. Still moisturizes well but not as lovely as it used to be. It is confusing though b/c the older jar says “new lightweight formula” - I wish I could still find this one!

I have rosacea and I have been looking for years for a product that would reduce the redness and pull some of the heat out of my face. I constantly feel like I have a sunburn and when I go out into the sun or an environment that is hot it makes it difficult to be in my own skin. This moisturizer, from Shea Moisture, along with the African Black Soap facial scrub and the toner has completely turned my skin around. (Shown in the picture) Surprisingly it pulls the heat out of my skin and it has cleared up some of the acne spots. Not to mention I have oily skin that is also dry and it has balanced my skin quite a bit. I noticed after the first day of using it before bed, I woke up the next day and my face wasn’t pouring oil and I no longer had dry spots. I highly recommend this product. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on expensive products to try and help my face and I turn to something all natural, fair trade, family owned, that’s reasonably priced and it works!!!!! Who would’ve known. Natural is better. Update: I am purchasing more. I don’t know what I’d do without this stuff. My face doesn’t breakout anymore!

This is a combo review for the moisturizer and the Shea Moisture black soap. I am in my 40s and have suffered with adult acne for YEARS. I have tried EVERYTHING over the years, including prescription antibiotic gel, Proactiv, BC pills, and just about every other product, and nothing has ever worked. Nothing. I believe my breakouts are mostly caused by hormones, so I was just about to give up and accept my skin. I have combination skin, but it's very sensitive. Even supposedly hypoallergenic products didn't help. Well, after only a few days of using this moisturizer in conjunction with their black soap and toner, my face is completely bump free!! I bought the soap first, and I had a moderate breakout the very first day and figured it was another dud. Boy was I wrong! The soap is drying, so I needed a great moisturizer and this was it! After using this moisturizer and the soap, I am clearing up very nicely and maybe now some of these old acne scars can finally heal. It's not greasy feeling on your skin like most moisturizers, and it absorbs very quickly so I wasn't sure it was going to keep my skin hydrated, but so far it's great. My skin is soft and shine free, and makeup goes on great after using it. I love this line!!

This product change the life of my skin. Though the price increase a bit, it helps moisturize my face to the max. I love using this product eith the Shea oil. Great combination.

Sent bon, est épaisse mais ne rend pas la peau grasse, très bien absorbée par la peau, la rend douce et unifie le teint quand on l'utilise tous les jours, un produit hydratant nourrissant avec de très bons ingrédients! Dommage qu'il est si difficile à trouver !

Smooth texture, very moisturising, non greasy, easy to apply, pleasant scent. Would buy again.

It is quite disappointing to see that such an expensive cream is being delivered unsealed and looks used… there should be a better packaging for such a product. Do not recommend if this is how it is delivered. Also the texture of the cream is different than previous version ! Not recommended

I ordered the Shea Moisture African Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer, but it arrived with a watery consistency, possibly due to heat exposure. It seems like the product might have spoiled or separated. Has anyone else experienced this?
