Solid phone
This is a great all round phone. Basic, but has great camera and is quick and responsive. Good value for mid range phone

Microphone, vibration and ring stop working
Many feature stop working after 16 months (vibration, ring, microphone) which render this mobile useless, I do not recommend this product since its life expectancy is not good enough.

Good ''fun''-phone.
I thought it was time to upgrade a bit (i was still using a first generation iPhone SE for some stuff, about 7 or 8 years old), so i got this and an iPhone Ten at the same time (i think they are both from the same year). For whatever reason, i just won't trust Android with all my banking, but as for social media etc then i am finding this to be faster, smoother, more responsive, and even quicker to set up than the iPhone. The few things that i find irritating are more irritating for some reason, but there seems to be less of those than with it's Apple counterpart..So if you can only afford one phone for everything, i would personally still recommend the iPhone for a general feeling of safety. But if you can afford one phone for business and one for pleasure then this makes a better ''fun'' phone. Not to mention that if you are technically minded and know what you are doing, then this will take all kinds of other operating systems, including ( i read somewhere) Ubuntu. But so far, installing that kind of thing on here is beyond me..

Stunning Camera
I'm only discussing in detail the camera of the Pixel 3a because it is a perfectly good phone which does all the usual things any smartphone does, and despite being slightly cut down from the Pixel 3, 3xl or 4 it still operates smoothly, effortlessly, has a decent screen, good sound and everything an iphone has but at a third or even quarter of the price. It is the camera that sets this phone apart. It is absolutely stunning. The only thing it lacks compared with higher spec Pixels is the super wide virtual lens mode, but this is easily overcome by doing a panoramic shot adjustable from slighly wide to a full 180+degrees. You'll get a slightly cropped vertical but it is perfectly usable and by the way panoramic mode has the best, most flawless stitching I have seen on ANY camera, including full frame and APS-C devices.Comparing several interior shots of, say flowers or other objects, with similar photos on my Micro Four Thirds camera and another mid range DSLR, carefully setup with perfect focus and preparation, the Pixel 3a consistently produced sharper, more vibrant pictures. What was surprising is that even looking at 100% crops the Pixel showed still sharper images with significantly less noise and virtually no loss of sharpness. The night mode is equally brilliant and knocked my other cameras for six. I took a panoramic shot of my house and garden half an hour after senset. There was barely any light yet the image was bright, focused and vibrant. While the stock images are a little over-vivid and perhaps too rich to be believed, it is a doddle to edit them in phone to reduce exposure, white balance, colour, highlights, shadows, blacks and whites. This editing is so good that it almost replaces any need to import its optional RAW images into Lightroom or a similar editor. The brutal fact is that this camera quite easily out guns my other conventional cameras in every respect apart from optical zoom and video, although even the video quality and stabilisation gets quite close. This camera phone is eminently useable for anything from travel, to portraits to street and landscapes. It won't exceed the quality of a top level APS-C camera or full frame, but it will make any point and shoot with a 1 inch or consumer-level small sensor redundant unless you require high zoom levels for say wildlife, action sports or other zoom-dependent, burst modes. No other camera phone comes close at the current price of £299. Highly Recommended.

Great phone if you're not too picky.
I was a little skeptical buying this phone due to the low price. But read other reviews and bought it and have to say it's quality through and through. The camera, especially with night sight, is the highlight. Fingerprint sensor works like a charm. Doesn't lag and doesn't heat up even while playing games like pubg, cod, asphalt. The clean software is a blessing in this age of bloated ones. The body is plastic but feels nice to hold. The audio quality from the stereo speakers is very very good as well.Just 2 negatives imo. First is the screen brightness. As you keep using the phone, you'll just wish the screen was a bit brighter than it can be in some situations. Second is the battery. Maybe it's just me cause I'm coming from a Zenfone max, and that spoiled me with a 5000 mAh battery. Even with heavy use i had to charge it once a day. This one I have to charge 2 times during off days since the phone usage is more. Though the charging speed is lightning quick. As you might have seen from the pictures, I also purchased a spigen case for it which is highly recommended for to the attention given to small details. For example, the hole for the charging port is large enough for the charging point shoulder to pop in flush. And the fact that it's not made in China might be a plus point to some. (South Korea, in case you're wondering)
