I don't know how many years worth of blisters I have succumbed to in cutting and wrapping stock fencing to the support wire and I only wish my husband had discovered this tool 10 years ago !!! WHAT a useful item this fence plier kit is - we strung and hung stock fencing to our horse fields in less than an hour - it usually takes about three days and in freezing winter weather or rain that's not amusing at all !!!! AMAZING. Talk about easy to use and quick. Can't believe we have wasted so much time previously in the monotonous method we have been using - now thanks to this little gadget fencing and repairs will be a doddle.................

Firstly I ordered this on the 16th and it was here on the morning of the 18th fantastic delivery speed!The tool is simple and with that comes useful simplicity. I purchased the P222 with the galvanised VR22 hog rings in addition to the tool as it does not come with any. The tool loaded with ease and the grips for delivering the pinch for the ring were comfortableI crimped over 150 hog ties in around 15 minutes leaving me feeling satisfied with the job it had just completed and baffled that I could have spent a day doing the same job by hand.I purchased the tool to help me complete the construction of a chicken run by hog tying the anti fox skirt to the bottom run of chicken wire.The chicken wire was 20mm so the holes were very small for fitting the tool in but holding it on the angle I found it managed to easily catch both wires and hog ring them, the rings were loose on the two wires but securely holding the two wire sections together. So it did the job perfectly.The only thing i did not like was the safety catch on the bottom got in the way sometimes whilst trying to close hog rings, so I popped it off, and re secured it at the end of the job.

This machine constantly jams however careful it is used, and you need long nose pliers to remove the jammed rings The little bars of rings break so easily too, expensive gun, so disappointed. Wasted nearly half the rings just putting up some chicken wire, I would really like my money back but bought 3000 rings plus and cannot send those back, quite annoyed. After only putting on70-80 rings the soft rubber is peeling off the handles. Utter rubbish.

Nice Feel, but the delivery could be a little more accurate the staple doesn't always fit in the jaws, this may be me or a design fault, but it does waste a few staples. The design is okay and they weigh very little so working with them for a long time doesn't cause a problem. Staples are easy to purchase and quick to arrive. I am mostly happy with the purchase.JC

Absolutely fantastic. Well worth the money. I used it to join a 10 meter square netting to steel cable stretching across my pond area to protect the fish from being killed and eaten by herons. So now I walk under the netting and the whole area is now 100% protected from the herons.
