Just starting this, but I love it!
MY THOUGHTS:Okay, first I recommend getting yourself a notebook dedicated to this for the weekly reflection. For example, in week one it asks "What anxieties can you get rid of by turning them over to God every day?" I have started asking myself this when I first wake up and before I go to bed. I write down in my notebook what I come up with, it is like sealing the deal. I can't wait to go back through and see how much progress I have made as the weeks go by. Of course, you don't have to get a notebook, that is just my personal preference.HOW THE CHAPTER FOR THE WEEK IS SET UP:Each week starts out with a scripture verse and then is followed by an elucidation(I had to look this word up when I came across it to be honest. It is defined in the dictionary as: "explanation that makes something clear; clarification"). After the elucidation there is a reflection (this is the part I got a journal for, although you don't have to) and ends with a prayer.SOME OF THE TOPICS COVEREDThere are some really great topics in here, ones that affect most of us. Week One starts with anxiety. There are also weeks that cover negative thinking, fears, compassion, counting your blessings, feeling overwhelmed, daily chores, worrying, desires, comfort and so many more great topics. The book ends with a finals blessings chapter that has passages from Luke and Mark, followed by a prayer.ABOUT THE ELUCIDATIONSThese are written about every day life. They reflect on the scripture, which is related to the weekly topic. It is really down to earth, and easy to relate to. It is all encompassing and fits to every woman whether you are single, dating, married or widowed. It is helpful just knowing that I am not the only one that has those silly little worries and fears going through my head. I really think this book will be a life changer!

Great Devotional Book for Women
This 52-week devotional for women helps to reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness through prayer. The book is broken down to weeks with each week being on a topic such as Week 8 “Positivity through Strength,” or week 10 with “Spiral of Toxic Thoughts.” It starts with a scripture then an elucidation, a reflection, and finally of a prayer. I like the fact that every week you are tasked with one thing you should work on so it’s not so overwhelming and you have time to actually follow through on it. Especially with the way this year has gone it’s good to take time to reflect and work on inner peace during all the craziness and stressful times we’re facing. It’s a great book for women across the board and their short and straight to the point. It covers things we all know we should do but can forget or push off another day or week, but it’s important to take care of ourselves, and this book will give us that push we may need to get back to taking care of ourselves.

Devotionals for Woman: A Prayer Journal for Woman that Empowers Women of All Ages
Devotionals for Women is a wonderful prayer journal that personally taught me a lot about my belief and devotion to God. As someone who is trying to educate myself on truly believing in the Lord while bettering my mentalities about life, this book strengthens my beliefs and passion to dedicate my life to the lord. Clear and Concise, this weekly journal splits every week into four well executed sections: A scripture, an elucidation, a reflection, and a prayer. This made the journal that much more understandable and let me fully learn about the power of God and how to trust him with my dilemmas and worries. The book brings up several hypothetical worries and queries that someone could have, whether it be about the woes of being lonely or scared after sending your children to college or discussing the negative theme of comparing oneself to others. But regardless of the wide variety of subject matters covered, the journal excelled on explaining how god can help someone in any of life’s scenarios. I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with anxiety, loneliness, stress, or fear, that also wants to improve their devotion to God. Overall, it is a fantastic, simplistic, and highly educational Christian journal.

Inspiring Devotional for Women
This little devotional book for women was an excellent read. I’ve only read part of it so far, but it’s one of my favourite ways to start my week so far. Each week, you get a new 3 minute devotional and I’ve enjoyed them all so far. They all cover different topics that are common struggles in life and include passages from Gods book every time. Some of the passages are well known and others are more like hidden gems, but all are inspiring and fit well with the weekly devotional.I found that this could work as a prayer journal too. If you need something to help set your focus for the week and be an inspiring prayer journal for women, this is a good book to start with. The short devotions are great at getting your started and can help you start that week’s prayer journal.Overall, I really enjoyed how short and simple these weekly devotionals were. Whether you want a good opening to a more intense weekly devotion or a simple 3 minute devotional, this is a great start.

Wonderful Daily Devotionals for Women
Devotionals For Women by Denise Gilmore is a beautifully written book. The topics covered for the 52 weeks of the year are just what a modern women needs to remain centered and spiritually fulfilled. Each week features a scripture, Gilmore's explanation of the scripture, reflection questions, and a prayer for the week. I feel the reflection questions are very useful for prayer journaling, as they give you a moment to contemplate the meaning of the weekly scripture. Gilmore invites women integrate the meaning of the scripture into their life through reflection and prayer, making these devotional practices feel immensely healing, while also useful in daily life.Another thing I appreciate about this book is that the weeks of devotionals don't correspond to certain dates; they are just listed as Week 1, Week 2, etc. This makes the book able to be started at any point in time, unlike other books I've see that are for a certain year, leading you to feel out of sync if you start mid-year. Since it is so accessible, I believe it will be the perfect gift for friends and family. I highly recommend this calming, soothing book of devotionals for women.
