Superbly printed, with Tove Jansson's orignal drawings, this book takes you into the world of Moomins and their funny, scary and exiting adventures.

I am in a quest to read all the Moomin books so I bought this wonderful collector edition. I am also not a native English speaker but (unfortunately) Moomins aren’t popular enough where I live so not all the novels are available in my native lenguage. I decided to start my adventure by buying all of them in English (even to practice myself with the lenguage) and this one was quite easy to read since it's meant to young children but can also appeal to grownups due to the different meanings you can seek in the characters and stories. The way it's presented it's gorgeous with much care for the details and colors that can resonate with literally everyone. They sure decorate shelfs in such a joyful way to look at. Unfortunately the book have some typos and errors here and there due to (probably) a fast print process of the edition. But that's ok. I could feel the warmth of the story and characters so now I can’t wait to read the other Moomin books!

My favourite books from childhood. Reading them again takes me back to summer holidays, freedom and adventures.

I would highly recommend this beautiful book to kids of all ages.
