I knew as soon as I saw these 3-D KF-94 masks that I wanted to give them a try. The South Korean government has set such high standards for ensuring that their masks are effective.Description:This is a pack of 10 individually wrapped, single-use KF-94 masks. They are a 3-D design so that they provide extra space in the front to ensure both plenty of breathing space and that your mouth does not touch the front of the mask.Design:This KF-94 mask is constructed of 4 layers of material. As can be seen in my photos, I dissected a mask according to its layers and also removed the nose piece. The outer (first) layer is the initial filtration layer and helps with flexibility. I put a few drops of water on that outer layer. The water did not leak through, so the outer layer is also fluid resistant. The second layer both helps with filtration and is the stiffest layer. It helps the mask retain its shape. The third layer is the melt-blown high-filtration layer. The inner (fourth) layer provides a soft material against your skin so that there is no irritation. This 3-D mask measures 8 1/4" wide from one side to the other. The nose wire is 3" long and allows you to mold the nose section securely around your nose. The nose wire appears white in the photo, but it is actually aluminum inside. Also seen in the photos, the nose part of the mask and the chin part both are designed to lay in a slightly different plane than the main part of the mask so that they cup your nose and chin properly for a secure seal and fit. The chin part tucks well under the chin. The ear loops are soft and very stretchy. An S-hook actually comes with each mask so that you can pull the ear loops around the back of your head and hook them together for a secure fit.Filtration:This mask provides 94% filtration, which is a very high level of filtration. The mask makes no flippant claims. It claims to filter particulate matter such as Asian yellow dust, fine dust, and other airborne particles down to .4 microns. The best U.S. masks only filter down to .3 microns. This mask has emergency use authorization from the FDA.Recommendations and Rating:I very much like this mask. It is lightweight and feels comfortable on. I especially like the 94% filtration level and the rounded nose and chin portions. Masks that have pointed chin and nose portions seem to not fit as securely. The only slight drawback with this mask is that it is a fairly snug fit. Yes, it does allow extra space for breathing room in the front, but the mask is designed for a person with smaller skeletal features. I think this mask would be perfect for teenagers, average-sized adult women, and smaller-sized men. I definitely give this mask 5 stars.

I love these. It really is 4 layers! Offers much better protection than standard surgical masks. I bought these for my partner who is a nurse. He loves the fact that the earloops stretch pretty wide so they are very comfortable. They also come with a small clip so you can clip the earloops behind your head rather than your ears! It makes wearing these for his 12 hour shifts much more bearable. These do run on the smaller side, however, so if you are someone with a larger face these might not be for you.

I do like the mask. They all came individually packaged, and my very picky friend confirmed they are definitely from Korea - a big plus in her book. The only thing for me is that I have to trim off the top area close to the nose piece because the material touches my eyelashes and bothers me. Also, it does have a funny smell. As long as I take one out of the packaging the night before, there is no smell. Even if I have to put one on fresh from opening the package, the smell seems unnoticeable in an hour or so. The ear loops are a little thicker than other loops, but I love how soft they are. I did like the idea of having the clip/hook attachment to make the fit better, but the loops really started bothering my ears. Now I collect those hooks so I can see how I can repurpose them in my classroom. I’ll be buying a different brand in the future, but these aren’t bad after my modifications.

I’m reviewing these mostly to respond to a few of the reviews by others. I didn’t find them to be small at all. They fit both my face and my husband’s fairly well. In fact they seem a bit large and I don’t get quite as snug a fit as expected. The ear elastic isn’t tight at all which makes wearing them for an extended period easier and more comfortable. They aren’t particularly thick. Comparable to paper surgical masks. They came individually wrapped and we did not notice any odor at all. They make talking easier because they don’t press against your mouth and nose and they are not “fuzzy” at all like the insides of the surgical masks can be so they don’t snag on my husband’s whiskers.

The hook for the straps pulls the straps off the back of the ears which is a good thing. The mask design allows for a much better seal as opposed to typical blue masks as it does not have gaps on the sides.

These are very nice, good quality and comfortable. I especially like the cut-out on the bridge of the nose for a better fit and more comfort. It also has a hook attached so you can combine the two ear loops a the back of the head or use the hook to hang the mask when not in use.The only thing I didn't like was that it runs a little small. I have regular adult Asian face, not wide or big, but overall fit was a little small around the mouth area. This would be great for Adults with slightly slimmer face features. Wider faces may find it to be too small. But wearable and more comfortable than other KN94 I've tried and had. This rates at top 8 out of 10.

I think these are legit, which was a big concern. But they seem okay, plus they fit really well. They have over-the-ear loops, which I find most comfortable and easy to manage, but also a little plastic clip that allows you to clip the two loops at the back of your head, for a closer fit. That works really well. The masks have effective nose clips, too, which also improve fit and reduce fogging on my glasses better than any masks I've tried.

I like this mask a lot. It fits tightly, is very comfortable and is reputable. My only concern is that there's a clip in the back that creates a snug fit. Without it the mask is too loose. With one of these, I lost the clip; it slipped off the loop. It also makes it hard to put on quickly. So I don't use these for outside where I need to put a mask on quickly and want to take it off when I don't need to wear it. It's absolutely perfect for indoor use.
