This refill is authentic and works perfectly in my M rollerball. Just wished they lasted longer. Seems about every 6 months it's time for a replacement. Had all kinds of pens, refills, cartridges, etc, etc. For the day to day stuff. Montblanc rollerball pens just suit my tastes. I even modify the regular rollerball refill to work in place of a G2. Can't say enough good stuff.

I have to say. At half the price, any refill I get from Cross feels much nicer to write with
