Victor C6000 Advanced Construction Calculator with Protective Case Displays in Fractional or Dimensional Forms Perfect for Carpenters, Renovators,Builders, Contractors, Estimators

The Victor C6000 is a good calculator for the money. Performs a multitude of functions and the function commands are intuitive and should be easy to learn. This comes with a case and flip cover to protect the unit from damage. The calculator and cover both seem to be durable and of high quality. There is a storage pocket on the back of the calculator which holds the included quick start cheat sheet for performing various computations. The only gripe I have is that it is just a bit difficult to remove the calc from the cover to access it.

Really easy to use and helpful on the job. Bought a couple as gifts and everyone loves them.

Pros: It simply works, rubberized case, good purchase in the hands, buttons are not too small, flip top protection, brightly colored and not overloaded with features that are unneeded in this configuration. Cons: The subcontractor know I have it, so I end up doing their job.

Case is very flimsy. The pins for the hinge fell out in the first week.

Unfortunately this lasted less than 6 months before dying. Thought it was just the battery but replaced that, it turned on for a second and then died completely. It was always taken care of, never dropped, so for the money this is disappointing. Thought it would have more longevity.
