Premium Outdoor Golf Mat for Home Use
Super premium golf mat:Using for chipping practice & full swing into a net.I take golf seriously: single digit handicap.Gives feedback for fat (ground first) shots. This is what you want in a golf mat. You want to know if you hit the ball first or the ground first. Some mats hide your mistakes so it feels like you hit solid shots every time. This one does not - it is an excellent training tool.Safe: you can "take a divot" without hurting your elbows. You do NOT need a mat with foam padding on the bottom. This mat is thick enough to withstand the impact of a golf swing and feel like you are swinging through the shot.Durable: The backing looks thin in the photo on Amazon ... but it is thick and reinforced. This will last for a long time.Feel: Yes your feet do "sink in" a little bit (this is the tradeoff for keeping your elbows safe). This is actually good practice for keeping your stance stable. But, if you do not like it, the mat can be adjusted. Just spread and sweep a thin layer of play sand on the mat, work it into the fibers, and it will firm up.I zip-tied this mat to "interlocking drainage tiles" so I can keep it on my patio/driveway year-round - allowing it to drain.Love this home setup!

Works great
Use this indoor on a hard surface so it moves slightly, but not enough to bother me. Other then that it is the best mat for the money

Much better than expected. Very pleased with quality and performance.
I was concerned with some of the reviews and the fact that this mat was cheaper than some others of the same size. I have had this for a month now and have hit several hundred balls. I see NO SIGNS of adverse wear and have not rotated the mat once. It does hold a regular tee but just barely; and after a few swings, the tee easily falls over. I found it very frustrating to use regular tees so I purchased some of the "cone" tees they use at the local golf simulator and they work PERFECTLY. Feedback for poor swings seems fairly realistic. That is; fat shots feel and react (on the simulator) like fat shots. That said, I'm a picker so if you take proper divots (in front of the ball), your mileage may vary. I have not experienced any fraying of edges yet but will revise if needed. I gave this mat 5 stars because it performs well and exceeded my expectations. Have spent hours on the mat with friends and family and it's a great compliment to the launch monitor I bought with it and my indoor setup.

Fantastic mat. You can drop it over turf
Fantastic mat. You can drop it over turf, concrete, brick and it doesn't slide or rebound at all. It is very thick and doesn't mark up your clubs at all. It really punishes fat shots, I mean really. You may hate this if you have a very steep angle of attack as it really slows the clubhead down when you get really down on it.Takes a full length tee perfectly. Looks like it is going to wear really well as I can't even tell I have hit a ball off of it using it every day for a month. My only complaint is that it is a bit soft for your stance. I feel like I sink down into it way more than I should. I may get a stance mat off to the side of it to fix this, but it isn't enough to take a star off.

Good Mat
Good golf mat for my children's outdoor hitting area. Paired with a Spornia golf net and it makes for a nice set up. Mat does have edges that are a bit unkept but simply resist the urge to pull on the tag ends and no big deal. Mat is responsive to hitting and does provide a more life like experience. Size is pretty good for kids and even handles my size (6'4") and stance.

Top notch
This mat is excellent. Best one I’ve used for actually getting a feeling of real turf. And it doesn’t cause joint damage because it’s so soft.

You can place a wooden tee to hit your driver!
This mat is better than the ones at the driving range; more grass-like and not as hard on your joints at impact. You can use a wood tee to hit your driver and not have to deal with those bulky rubber tees! Would recommend this mat to players of all skill levels.

Turf mat
Our golf club is rebuilding a tee on a par three hole and needed something to use until grass grows. The mat's been in use for a month and looks brand new. No complaints about marking clubs. If using a tee with irons you may need a shorter tee, because tees don't go in very far. If we have any changes this summer I'll add to this review.
