Works in Pool Heaters
I needed to replace the water pressure switch in my early-1990's Laars Lite pool heater. Searching around, the best deal I could find for the replacement part was nearly $50 ( Jandy R0013200 2 PSI Air Pressure Switch Replacement Kit for Pools ,) and a similar replacement was $36 ( Hayward CHXPRS1931 Heater Pressure Switch .)I found this adjustable DPST pressure switch for about $16, and, with the use of $6-worth of adapters (the heater uses a 3/16" compression fitting, and the switch is 1/8" NPT,) it works great after setting the trip point. This is a very versatile low-pressure switch, having both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts, and pressure is adjustable from at least 20PSI (where it's initially set) down to ~2PSI (where I have it set.) Great boost switch
Works well for boost activation. It's listed as 20 psi set point but it has a rubber plug that pulls out and a hex screw that allows adjustment. If you back it out enough it activates with no pressure. I set mine to 10 psi and seems to be working fine. It has a common and both always open and always closed connections so you can use it to turn something on and turn something off with pressure. Inlet port is 1/8" NPT.

Works with water pressure.
Just installed one this weekend on a water heater circuit I designed to kick the elements off in case the water pressure drops at our lake property. So far so good. I left it at 20 psi and cycled it a handful of times.
