Works incredibly well and is very sturdy no play at all over the years. But definitely rusted faster in some spots than I thought on the bottom it started to rust after about 2 years so great product overall though.

They look fantastic. With a little help from my sons with mounting the first few holes, I was able to tighten the remaining holes. They completely serve their purpose in making it easier for me to get me in and out. I’m only 5’2” and this is my first full-size truck. I don’t even think it’s lifted that high if at all. The finish and welds look very sturdy. I’ve read the reviews on the squeaking and I’ll come back in a few months to update. So far so good. The only negative I would write about them is the 3rd bracket back on the driver side should be flipped the opposite direction. There is a big hole and 2 smaller holes and the bracket is flipped in the direction that makes it almost impossible to mount because of the truck’s existing hardware. If it was flipped the opposite direction, there is another small hole that would’ve lined up perfectly. So right now that particular hole isn’t mounted, only the bottom part of the 3rd bracket is secured. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase

So I just installed today, took me about a hour by myself. I got these as used but like new condition from amazon. Amazon did a great job of double boxing this item. And getting it to me safelyNow for the item:First impression was that these things are heavy and feels durable. They gave my truck a really nice look in my opinion, and does offer some relief getting in and out of a 3 inch lifted truck. They are very strong once mounted. I was able to stand on it and jump up and down without a single budge.Directions are kinda all over the place but offer enough info to get it installed..the hardest part of install was lifting up the thing while trying to get the very first bolt to line up and screw in. If you have someone or something to prop up one side you would probably have a easy time. I didn’t do that I just wrestled with it for a min.Over all I’m very pleased with the product and would recommend it to someone that is thinking about getting it.

These running boards are beautiful. They were an almost 100% perfect fit. I say that because I had to jack one end up on the driver's side to get the bolt started. But front to rear, all the bolt holes lined up perfectly. Easy to install overall. The instructions say to have a helper. Yes, that would have been beneficial. But I accomplished it alone in an hour and all was fine. Any one that rated this under 5 stars probably didn't like them to begin with--being not what they wanted their truck to look like. But my truck is charcoal and these look fantastic and match great with the color. The only other issue I had was that I needed 12 lock washers and there were only 9 in the kit. I had spares on-hand so big deal for me. Plus, when I installed the left-hand steps, the rail shifted and knocked one of the nut-clips off and into the body. I could not get it out. Not the manufacture's fault; but mine. I just wish they had sent a few extra of the mounting hardware incase of issues like this. To finish, I am proud of the look these have on my truck and am glad I purchased them.

These are very solidly constructed tube-type running boards with a flat step panel. They look very nice on my truck. They were fairly easy to install. The instructions were clear and the included hardware worked fine. I installed them by myself, even though the instructions recommend having assistance. I used a couple of jack stands to hold them nearly in place so that I only need to lift them about an inch to install the bolts. I only gave the item 4 stars because I am not entirely comfortable with the way they are bolted to the rocker panels and underside of the body. I would have preferred to have them bolt to the frame like the ones did on my old truck. However, the new truck just doesn't allow reasonable access to the frame for mounting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they hold up over time.

From the packaging to the install these running boards are awesome. Never have I received anything this large packaged so well. Directions were clear and easily understood. Install took about 45 minutes by myself and they look great. Installed on 2009 GMC Sierra ext. cab 4X4.After purchasing and install I have seen that these running boards are rated best of the best on Best Reviews. Extremely happy with my purchase of these running boards.Just a couple of notes: Check your mounting tabs on your vehicle. A couple of mine were bent but easily put back in shape with a good pair of pliers. And as a couple other reviewers have said do not over tighten the bolts. Although there is no recommendation in the directions, I used a little lock tight on my bolts as I will most likely never remove these boards.

Living in Michigan nerf bars have to be sturdy and corrosion resistant since the weather and the roads do a real number on them. That was the reason I went with Tyger's nerf bars, the black powder coating and the heavy duty construction are ample protection against anything you can throw at them. After 2 years they still look just as good and are still mounted as if they were welded to the truck, whereas the chrome nerf bars of some of my friends already show wear, dings, and rust spots.

These Tyger Armor side steps for my 2017 GMC Sierra Double cab went on with the help of my buddy in about 90 minutes. Pretty simple and they look fantastic. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my plates they were amazed at how great these steps looked. And the fact that I saved over $500 buying them from Amazon over purchasing the dealership's run of the mill, boring side steps was a huge benefit to me.A few of my neighbors who have lifted trucks loved the look and finish of the steps as well.Finally, the fit and height is absolutely perfect for getting in and out of my new truck.Next up to finish the look is a Tyger Front Bumper Guard to match the front of my truck. The running boards were difficult to get them lined up with the factory holes. If you have a 4ft+ clamp it will come in handy. Once they're installed tho...theyre amazing!The matching bull bar completes the look!

Really a great upgrade, worth every penny, look good on my truck , would buy again if I change truck no hesitation
