Gave me comfort
I am a single parent of a 23 year old, I can give advise but the advise is not always welcome or taken. One thing I can always use is prayer. I know I can only be responsible for myself and hope I did a good enough job raising her that if she loses her way she can find her way back. These prayers help give me comfort and confidence this will be the case. With over 60 prayers you should be able to find one for any situation. All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way have I been influenced by anyone.

Very Good Book of Prayers
Very good book. As Bruce Wilkinsin stated, we are parents from the time we give birth to our children until our death. However, it not practical to parent adult children as we did when they were younger, so we pray for them. This book contains a myriad of prayers covering almost every conceivable situation for our adult children. It is a prayer reference book I will put to use daily, whether there is a dire need for or just for keeping my children in my prayers. I highly recommend this book.

Powerful !
This book is based on Scripture. . We never stop being parents and so we should never cease praying. This book is a much needed one; an encouraging reminder to keep our children lifted before the Lord no matter the age. . Prayers that include a variety of subjects and issues filled with biblical truths. This is a book I will gift to other parents of adult children!

Prayerful look how to support adult children.
If you are familiar with the authors at all you will without a doubt know that Prayers of Blessing over My Adult Children is a Christian book. Bruce Wilkinson and Heather Hair give wise counsel on accepting the decisions that adult children make as well as praying for them. While there is an emphasis on how to deal with the guilt and sorrow when the decisions made are poor choices and even against God’s Word, it is also for those whose children are continuing in the faith. The many verses of scriptures at the end of the book were the most beneficial of all.I will admit that for some reason I was expecting more of a devotional format which is not the case at all. The book is laid out in chapters and dealt with the many aspects of praying for our grown children. Different from what I expected but not necessarily bad. It is a meaningful look at talking to the Lord without meddling, lecturing or preaching at our grown children. There is plenty of food for thought. The publisher through Net Galley provided an ARC. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.

Not what I thought it would be
Was a little disappointed because I thought it was written with true life experiences. The prayers are good tho. Still pray them over my adult children.

Very dissatisfied
I bought this hoping to find prayers I could say to bless my children's lives. Instead this book is self centered on the person doing prayers.I am looking for a book that selfless bless my children without me dwelling on my mistakes. These should be prayers only for the needs of adult children.

If you've got good adult children, this is not your book.
"If your adult children are successful and your relationship with them is strong and you want to pray them on to even greater success, this book isn't intended for you."Well, I wish I had known that BEFORE I purchased this book. I guess happy adult children don't need our prayers?
