Can I use this to lube garage door opener screw drive?

Yes!! This stuff completely quieted my screw-drive opener that I thought was so noisy that it was in need of replacement! This stuff is magic!

I have used this on gate hinges. It is light enough that it won't likely gum up the ball bearings. Easy enough to change it out if you are not happy with it. Many other household uses (e.g., door hinges where you don't want oil dripping).

Is this mineral oil based? Can I use it on an embroidery machine?

Recommended that you use Sprayway 946 Silicone Spray 11 oz. Can be sprayed on embroidery thread & bobbins. Amazon sells it. Best of luck.
