Excellent cookery book. You can always depend on Mary Berry to provide excellent quality, step by step recipies and beautiful photos.

What a great book! All the meals I remember from my childhood in England I can now recreate here in Canada.

My first non baking book by Mary Berry. Recipes are easy to follow and do not require many ingredients. The meals really are the kind I like to do on Sunday (when my girlfriend and I take a pause from the weeks activities and sit down to a nice meal with wine on china plates just for two).This book is for preparing home meals, not replicating the dining experience at Les Halles. There are plenty of books for that. This won't challenge an experienced cook but it does provide good recipes that bring me back to childhood weekends when the smells from the kitchen would make make me feel good.Mary is not only the queen of baking (though she is that)!

I love this book, it has lots of recipes that I can see myself doing. I have not been disappointed in any of her books so far and I have about 9 now. Can't wait for the next one!!

delusione totale Amazon - ho ricevuto il libro giusto pero' non quello che si trova sul sito..ho ricevuto una pubblicazione vecchia del 2011 con le pagine strappate (mancano le pagine 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204!!!!!) e ingiallite!!!!..come si puo' mandare un libro del genere??
