DANDO Premium Ice Melt Pet Safe

We had a rare major snowfall and stores sold out of ice melt quickly. So to begin with I was just excited this was available online. In using it I was impressed at how fast it worked. I would sprinkle the big candy-looking flakes along the path from door to street. By the time I walked back up the path ice was replaced by pooled water which eventually evaporated. I used it on both ice and maybe a half inch of hardened snow. It worked on both. Anything thicker just needs a shovel.

I'm sure these will work well, but I find using a 10 lb bag difficult. I bought these to pour into an empty plastic shaker container, but these chips are too big to use in the shaker. Next time i will buy salt that's finer.

I ordered this and it came in one solid clump, I tried to break it up by slamming it on concrete steps and it just broke into big chunks. I had a replacement ordered and it came the same way so obviously moisture got to them. I would suggest buying something else.

Material got hard in the bag. Came out in chunks like bricks. Worthless product.

This stuff goes solid, even though it comes in a sealed bag, if you don't IMMEDIATELY use it after you receive it. I bought 4 bags and used one right away. Then a few days later when I opened the 2nd bag, I had to bust up the contents to be able to spread the product. Then a week later I opened the final 2 bags, but the contents were solid and using a 4 pound mallet wasn't even enough to make the product useable. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Whoa! This is some fantastic ice melt! Nice big flakes of salt crystal and it works really fast too. I bought this simply because we couldn't find any in stock in the local stores and I wanted *something* to have on hand. I'm really glad I did because it's working great.

Worked great. Used it as a magnesium sulfate suplimwnt5for a reef aquarium...excellent quality and value. It did not come as a goant block as it has to orhers, but i live in a dry southern California climate
