Season of Fear

Brian Freeman is an excellent story teller! I have read and loved every book he has ever written. It's easy to get attatched to his characters. I can't wait to read his next book.

First, I need to say that I am huge fan of Mr. Freeman's Jonathan Stride series. Stride is an amazing character and the books written in this series are fantastic. Having read the first Cab Bolton book, The Bone House, I was truly impressed with this new character. Now after having read Season of Fear I am a convert and have placed Cab Bolton on my list of favorites. The story is engrossing with many twists and turns, nail-biting action, and jaw-dropping scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Besides Cab, Mr. Freeman has created a host of characters that will elicit numerous emotions from the reader. Some of the characters are so wonderful and you root for them to solve the issues they are faced with. Some are just downright evil and you love to hate them and applaud when they get their just reward. But I must tell you that the end of the book, especially the last 20 pages, are riveting. the last 2-3 pages are just plain frustrating. So as I finished the book, I realized that many unanswered questions remained. Now the loyal fan has to wait until the next Cab Bolton book, hoping those questions are answered. I have given Mr. Freeman a huge job. He owes the faithful fans a new Stride but now also a new Bolton!! Thanks, BF, for so many wonderful books and the time spent enjoying them. Anyone not acquainted with Brian Freeman, you do not know what you are missing!

A great read.

I enjoyed the first Cab Bolton much more. American politics leaves me cold, in fact politics in general does, but it was readable enough and in great condition as ever

This book, like all Brian's books, will leave you astonished with the twist in the ending. The writing will keep you glued to your chair...won't be able to put it down. Highly recommend any one of his books.
