The flakes are larger than I expected but I don’t really mind it. It will just require you to cook them a bit longer for them to fully blend in soups and such. I’d advise running them through a food processor if you’ll use this in marinades or as a meat rub. At the same time, large flakes prevents caking and keeps fresh longer. I hate onion powder that cakes into one large, rock hard chunk within a week of opening the bottle.
